Feeder workouts—anyone tried?
ad
Just curious as to who has tried this, and what were your results for anyone who has actually tried it?
My understanding is that you hit a lagging body part with high reps before bed every night...

Try them with BFR straps, 70% tightness
Different ballgame
AnonThis is interesting and has got me thinking, how close to bedtime would be the test. No way I can fall directly to sleep when I have an elevated heart rate, that would be worse than the times you lay in bed and just about drift to sleep and then it hits you that you forgot to pay the mortgage or car payment.
PBsetterI would be interested in knowing people's experiences with this ,I know rich piana used them on his arms .. but we all know why his arms looked like that
Blues cluesRich was/is and always will be a legend even if you havte him youve gotta respect his brutal honesty when everyone else felt too stigmatised to acknowledge their own use of gear.
I learned alot from his mistakes which he openly spoke about and for that I consider him a legend.
Did my 1st feeder workout last night (more like a mini feeder), only did 100 reps of body weight squats before bed and my quads pumped up pretty good with veins running across the teardrop and up the thigh.
I’d like to build up to about 300 reps of squats and lunges for a week or two, every night, and then measure to see progress (size), and report back.
Definitely let us know how it goes. My arms always lag, tried literally everything. Maybe worth giving it a shot.
I've thought about it, never tried it though. I bet it would work though. Might start doing it with arms or delts.
@growthman,
Hello Sir,
Looks like we have another Mr. Piana (RIP) fan on here. In regards to pumping blood in to particular muscle groups. This approach will work well alongside your AAS substances presented in your body that will make you grow no matter what type of weight lifting exercise you do considering you giving your body necessary nutrients and rest. I am afraid you will not get much effect from trying to fill up the muscle with blood if you are natural BB. In fact lactic acid that is going to build up in your muscles while you conducting an exercise most probably will have a reverse effect on your muscle growth. However there is nothing wrong in my opinion with throwing couple 'pump' sets after you have completed your compound exercise workout. This is my experience and may differ from others, hope it helps.
You got me, I did see it while checking out one of his vids. I think you’re right in that if the body is flooded with hormones and nutrients just about anything works. It’s good to see sources in the forums here and I wish more would participate.
I have been giving the big hairy banana high rep feeder workouts every night before bed for years.
PBsetterI googled it but couldn't find the method ?
Hahahaha +1 for you sir and welcome to level 1 you can now officially give and take away karma! Use your powers wisely ;)
Woah you got hair on your banana? Might wanna see someone about that
Me to. So far nothing but I’ll keep trying...
Dr. BS, man that sucks! I’d hate to have that be a lagging body part!
