fasting cardio question
ad
Greetings fellow eroiders...
I am about to start the leaning out portion of my 16 weeker on the week after Xmas and due to schedule I can only lift in the mornings (at around 745am) but wanted to explore fasting cardio from 6-630am, mostly brisk walking on an inclined treadmill. My concern is the possible negative effect on my lifting a little over an hour later. I used to be able to split the 2 activities up much further apart but work/kids/domestic stuff has made my schedule considerably less flexible.
Any opinions or advice is greatly appreciated.

I always took bcaa before doing cardio on an empty stomach. You could throw in a whey and oatmeal shake after the cardio to get in some protein and carbs before you lift.
AnonI trained myself to lift on a full stomach and got so used to it I did it for about 15 years. Your body is going to adapt to what you throw at it.
Agreed
Bottom line is don't overthink it. I understand the whole deal with adapting to a schedule and it always seems like a bigger deal than it really is.
Im sure you know your body well enough to make a decision as to whether you should have that meal before you lift. I would just have a shake after cardio and do lifting amd have that first meal on the fly on my way to work. Pre-made meals the night before am tupperware work wonders.
JtizzleThats a good question.. Would it be possible/or reccomended to get some protien in at end of cardio before weight training?
My plan is to shoot a dose of cjc1295/ghrp6 immediately before the cardio and I normally eat my first meal of the day at 6:45 so that I get an hour before the weights.
