Designing a workout split tailored for me...

ad

I've been on a cut for little over a month. I recently started Intermittent fasting:

-Fasting from 9pm to 1pm
-Eating my normal macros from 1pm to 9pm.

I've been thinking about changing my workout split to personally fit me, and help my lagging parts. I mostly have been doing the normal cookie cutter splits. But I've been contemplating doing more of a one muscle per day, with my lagging parts thrown in. So heres a rough split:

M: Chest, with a few bicep
T: Back, with a few tri
W: Legs, with a few bicep and forearm
Th: Biceps and Triceps
F: Shoulders, with a few chest

I'll throw in calf and abs EOD. For me, I believe my lagging parts are my arms. I want to get them proportioned to the rest of my body. My calves I feel are a bit too big for my arms : P This way, I can devote my gym time to each day to the specific muscle group, but also have increased stimulation to the my lagging parts.

What do you guys think? Mind you, i've been doing a 6 days split, working each muscle group twice a week, for the past...long time.

You have to consider that when you are doing chest, back, and shoulders ...bi's and tri's are being worked. I like what levelup said, do each bodypart once a week and go heavy especially on bi and tri day. And work them on separate days. Do one BP each day and kick up the cardio since you are trying to get leaner.

if you are working every muscle group twice a week, maybe you arent getting enough recovery for optimal growth. try hitting them hard once a week with high weight and low reps
