critique my routine
hey guys i was thinking about switching my routine. i have been using a 5x5 for a while now but i want to get a better total body. i found this routine and wanted to get everyones opinion on tweeking it or trashing it.
Day 1: Chest, biceps
Bench presses 3 sets 6- 8 reps
Incline bench presses 2 sets 6- 8 reps
Dips with added weights 2 sets 8-10 reps
Barbell curls 3 sets 6-10 reps
Dumbbell curls 2 sets 6-10 reps
Day 3: Thighs
Squats 3 sets 6-10 reps
Leg presses 2 sets 8-10 reps
Leg curls 2 sets 8-10 reps
Day 5: Shoulder, triceps Presses
behind neck 3 sets 6- 8 reps
Upright row 2 sets 8-10 reps
Side laterals 2 sets 8-10 reps
Lying triceps presses 3 sets 6-10 reps
Triceps pushdown 2 sets 8-10 reps
Day 7: Back. calves
Chins with added weight 3 sets 8-10 reps
Lat pull to neck 2 sets 8-10 reps
Barbell bent-over row 2 sets 6-10 reps
Seated cable row 2 sets 6-10 reps
Standing calf raise 3 sets 8-12 reps
Seated calf raise 2 sets 8-12 reps

I like one part, that you have chest and bi's together. A long time ago I use to do the typical chest and tri's together and back and bi's togehter but found my arm movements werent as intense because they were burnt already. Another thing is the rest in between days. Very smart.
yeah i didnt even notice no traps. throw in some barbell and dumbbell shrugs with shoulders. combine calves and thighs,drop the seated calf raise and super set the squats with standing calf raise. maybe add some hammer curls. im thinking i will just blast each group to failure on last set and give them a week to recoop. opinions? btw appreciate the input guys
make sure you throw in something for your traps too bro
sgtstedankoMeh, I'd Pers switch it up a little & train back & biceps together; & calves on leg days. Doing sprints/pushups, etc, for cardio.
