+ 4 Body weight exercises / Do these first.
I'm posting this because I want the new people to pay special attention to it .
Now before you run up in the gym grabbing those dumbbells and tearing your groin or losing grip on one and putting it through a mirror , maybe try some Body weight exercises first ?
I always get the same questions at the gym from new people .
Hey how did you get your Triceps so big and defined ?
Hey how did you get your lats to spread like that , why is your back so wide ?
How did you get that definition in your chest ?
Why were you fucking my mother last night ?
Why do your arms look like big veiny dicks ?
My answers are always the same , Dips , Pull-ups and Push ups. And it never fails they look at the ground and say oh yeah I need to do more of those ? Well why aren't you ? Because I suck at them they say.
And this is why I was fucking your mother last night , because your so pitiful and give up on anything hard . If fucking your mother was easy everyone would do it including you if you were a good son . Am I getting through to you here ??
I digress , Everyone is so quick to jump on the Bench and arch there back to the ceiling trying to put up 225lb when they cant even do 10 complete pushups , now don't get me wrong I'm all for newbies lifting weight's but nothing builds an upper body like the above mentioned exercises . Pull-ups are such a versatile exercise Wide grip, mid grip , close grip , reverse grip and you can add weight on the dip belt when your ready , all the back machines put together in your average gym can't hold a candle to pull-ups .
Dips shred your chest, Triceps, Delts and Lats like a fucking wood chipper it just depends on how you do them .
Who cares if you need to start on the assisted Pull ups or Dip machine just fucking do it you pussy get there and make it happen , you will surpass everyone around you upper body wise by successfully doing these exercises.
just close your eyes when you see mommy drag me in her room .

KarenLambertWe live in a society where people judge each other by how to fit they are. Fitness is a proxy for good character, and goodness is an indicator of fitness. So fitness is the measure of a character trait, and fitness is the measure of goodness. This is a severe and strange problem.
Today's deep thought by Karen.
Body weight exercises are the core for a lot of elite guys out there. Weather it be Military, Crossfit, MMA guys. It all begins with body weight workouts.
AnonVery true.
Molinin302Gotta plus this, there's a group of people who don't have the freedoms we do but have a lot of free time. Bodyweight exercises are important all the way around. Substitute tuna and ramen for chicken and broccoli I guess...
damn right bro.
Body weight exercises are a triple threat + + + .
Not only are you working the targeted muscle , but your working core and stabilizers muscles simultaneously . That's why you see people who can do 250 on a lat pull down , but they cant do correct pull-ups .
They have no core or stabilizer control, building muscle is more than just lifting heavy weights .
That is why most people give up on the gym right away , they have no core control, no stabilizer control and no endurance it kills them because there shaking after two sets . People spend months even years using there Delts on bench when they should throw those delts back and poke that chest out hitting it right , but they would rather lift more weight incorrectly than lift less weight correctly .
AnonDad? lol j/k
