Best training methods for offseason cycles

ad

Thinkkng about employing mountaindog or dc. I typically go with wendlers 531 but need to bring up some lagging body parts. Lifting for the sake of lifting is bullshit. If there is no progression you will not grow. heavier weights with more reps = more muscle just trying to find the best method for this. And the strength gains from offseason cycles and surplus calories make me want to maximize my growth. I'd like another 10 pounds of stage weight by next year.

Hey mate have a look at Mike Mentzers high intensity training or a variation on that Dorians blood and guts. You want to get big then train like that. Doing set after set after set will get you some of the way but have a good look at it and give it an honest try and it will smash you. I also don't mind German Volume Training for something a bit different.
