Here's a journal article on yerba mate and a few other herbs. An Argentine friend drinks mate all the time (gourd and all) and definitely benefited from the appetite suppressant effects. However he did have a pretty high intake, and mate is best drank from a gourd with multiple steeps rather than a single steep in a tea maker imo. YMMV

I don't doubt they increase weight loss, however, I am hyperparanoid about hydration. Many of those liquids will dehydrate you because of the caffeine in them.

With that being said, I definitely take caffeine immediately prior to working out. I would be concerned about microdosing caffeine all day long and dehydrating myself. Nothing else makes for a shitty workout (that is sometimes cut short if its bad enough) than being dehydrated.

IMO: More water (to a healthy extent) = better workouts. Better workouts = more calories burned. Better workouts also = more motivation. More motivation = better dieting. All of that combined means better efficiency when trying to lose fat. I shoot for 1.5 gal/day.

I am also a simple dude. IMO, the more simple the plan is, the easier it is to follow and be consistent. If you are able to drink all those things and maintain hydration, then more power to you! Smile

I’ve been doing intermittent fasting for past few months and love it. Im doing about a 7hr eating window—not an OMAD plan but similar concept. The health benefits are great and it is an easy way to keep calories low with little difficulty.

Make sure it is Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with mother. Just think of Danzig to remind you.
And you can us it multiple times a days. Just be careful as stomach upset could occur if gone overboard.

I have also found that a high quality fiber supplement shake is essential for the bodybuilding lifestyle whether cutting or bulking.

  • I think 2.5-3 L water is way too less, I drink 4-5 L daily!
  • Apple cider vinegar never on empty stomach, I drink it daily after my 2nd meal.
