+ 5 Simple cutting tricks

ad

Today's post is going to be about cutting tools, some techniques and little tricks I personally use in order to help me with my cut.

First things first: cardio. I personally do my cardio fasted because I feel it gives me like the mental edge on the day. I wake up, I get changed and I got to do my cardio so I get my mind set right for the day. I have those 30 minutes to myself and I focus on different things in my life. So fasted cardio is my first technique: get your mind right, starts that initial fat burn, puts you in a bigger deficit.

My next point is caffeine. You got to use caffeine lightly, you don't want to just go in and smash load of caffeine in. I have around 200 to 300 milligrams a day mostly that comes from a pre-workout which is about 200 or maybe I have like a Nocco or something like that. I don't drink coffee or anything so I get my caffeine elsewhere. Caffeine actually acts as an appetite suppressant so kind of delays when you're gonna get hungry. It also is a stimulant as well so your heart rate gets up kind of you know burning some more calories. It allows you to put a bit more effort into your training especially if you're training. Fasted cardio can be great because it acts as that initial energy source if you've been fasting all night so, yeah, cardio and caffeine my first two tips.

Next tip: intermittent fasting. I find easier to fast during the morning rather than during the day. I meant, I wake up, I take the caffeine and do my cardio so I use that appetite suppression to help me fasting until around 1 pm. It means I can easily fast between 13 and 15 hours a day without major efforts. Adding to all the scientific literature saying how good intermittent fasting is, the reason why intermittent fasting helps me is because instead of eating my calories in a 24 hours window, I actually have those calories in a shorter time. It means I feel full most of the day, eating bigger meals. And I love big meals.

My next and last tip is gonna be seasonings. They are an absolutely vital key of cutting especially for me because I have very very similar meals every single day. The seasoning transforms that meal and avoids you to get bored of eating the same food every single day. It looks stupid, but believe me, it helps mentally a lot. Most people stop cutting because they just get bored of the food. Believe me, guys, find the seasonings you like and use them because that's the best way of continue your routine without being a routine.

Man I love spicy stuff too - But anything like that before the days training is a no no nowadays. I just cannot be doing with a burning & cramping digestive track when I'm lifting, totally puts me off Lol

Just out of interest mate what are your favourite seasonings? Problem I find is that for every jar I buy and like I buy another that I dislike and it gets thrown away and wasted Lol +

I really like the day I add some sweet chille on my chicken. Also cajun or chili lime. I think those are my favourites.

Beef barley soup with lentils is my go to for high protein meals with decent carbs and flavors as long as u drain the fat from the beef and make ur own beef base it’s low on sodium and stuff and u some basil, bay leaves , pepper, maybe oregano .... and bam u have a decent soup ... but if I had to I can eat a piece of leather lol unseasoned
