ad

SO many different opinions on this.

I want to know your experience!!

I drink 2/3 cans a day to help with cravings on a cut. Can this be affecting my fat loss?

I eat clean

breakfast / almond milk protein shake

lunch / scrambled or poached egg on toasts

dinner / roast chicken with roast potato’s and 2x green veg

snack / Natural low fat yogurt

I come In at around 2k cals daily with 170/180g protein.

Yes. Your brain still thinks it’s sugar. It can lead to insulin resistance over time. And short term it can prevent your body from liberating fats for fuel from your body

I have tiger bread and 5 eggs for lunch. Comes in about 700 cals

People ask me these same questions all the time. Lol

2000 calories is extremely low for a man but reasonable for a woman cutting and who takes lifting seriously.

I lose a pound a week at 2500 calories, maintain at 3000 to 3200. This is at 6ft 185lbs. I was going to make the stacked female comment too but was driving at the time.

The body is a funny thing! I know a lad who’s 6ft 210ish lean as fuck who needs around 5k to maintain. Mental

What is your activity level. I work from home, behind a desk. Less than 4000 daily steps outside of my cardio.

This is me. I workout 7 days a week, and add hard cardio(running) atleast 3 days a week. Did 3.5 mile run last night after doing heavy cleans in the am.

Crazy high, with a high metabolism!

Everybody is different.

There you go then.

So 360 of your calories is from coke?

Try Vikings way. Mix it with a can of tuna.
More protein and might help curb your soda addiction...

My thoughts are anything you can clean battery cables with you probably don’t want in your body. It’s also corn syrup which doesn’t digest like sugar.
If I were to drink one I’d get the Pepsi throwback made with cane sugar..

Coke ZERO. Zero is in the name lol

Greg's picture

zero is a marketing gimmick and regulatory loophole.
several studies have proved conclusively that drinking diet soda is associated with weight gain
drinking diet soda is linked to adverse health effects, water is the best choice.

One 8-year observational study found that people who drank more than 21 artificially sweetened beverages per week almost doubled their risk of overweight and obesity, compared with people who didn’t consume these kinds of drinks

calorie intake was lower in individuals who drank diet beverages despite their increase in weight. This suggests that artificial sweeteners may influence body weight in other ways than calorie intake

Halsey's picture

I agree with Greg, tbh most things are marketing gimmicks(food pyramid). The evolution of the human body(my belief) didn't involve artificial sweeteners or many sugars at all. Basically the body is confused by them. Like MA said below the artificial sweeteners change the insulin sensitivity/tolerances of the body. A healthy pancreas and liver are key to weight control, give it what it wants.

I guess this goes against cals in / cals out then. Thanks for the info

Lol I missed the zero. I’m slow in the morning.
I still wouldn’t drink the trash...
