It is possible to be vegan/veggie and grow
One example

Check out Patric Baboudian too (sp.)
Also we are forgetting the legendary vegetarian BBers of days gone by?!?!
dropdzzDo you eat eggs or drink milk?I noticed you said vegetarian not vegan.
TronThe Vegan lifestyle is intriguing to me as well as I think it's a great idea...but I like steak....and burgers and shit..and turkey...
Did you know that if you put the words "And Shit" and the end of any sentence it makes you sound bass ass? Just saying, I'm fucking up a baconator as we speak
TronEating baconators and shit? You bad ass motherfucker.....Goddamn a baconator sounds so good...
Is it pretty damn good, taste like 950 calories from heaven
YourdadHave a nice, richy meaty dinner people...!!! back online tomorow
Quinoa-8 grams per 1 cup
buckwheat-6 grams per 1 cup
soy firm 15 grams per 1/2 cup
quorn 13 grams per 1/2 cup
rice and beans 7 grams per 1 cup
seitan 21 grams per 1/3 cup
hummas 7 grams per 2 tablespoons with a pita
peanut Butter 15 grams 2tabelspoons on when bread
these are just a few but there are plenty of options it will be harder you just really have to make the most out of each meal and get creative
YourdadI am vegan too. I eat animals who eat vegetables....
Vegan and bodybuilding? Cmon bro...Lets get serious here. Highest protein fruit has only 2g of protein...Vegetables from 1-2 g maximum. Do you know how much fucking vegetables you need to eat to go to 300-400 g protein a day?
Vegans do not eat meat, fish, eggs, dairy products, or any foods containing them. A vegan diet relies on plant-based foods including fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, nuts, and seeds.
Yourdadhahhaah it was a joke bro...I know very well the vegan lifestyle. My girlfriend is vegan too
get you facts in order before giving advice
YourdadBro Where did you saw the advice here? My comments purpose was to aware him that vegan diet is not the ideal diet for building muscle....it is healthy but not rich. In order to get big you need your beef, your steak, your pies to provide to your self the necessary amino acids.
I didnt search or done anything before posting because I know that this new society vegan ideas about bodybuilding needs to stop one day. You refer some products( peanut butter is not completely a vegan product) rice, quinoa etc but I was talking about vegetables not the whole vegan diet....and how creative you need to be m8....I mean how you can diet according to your goals with the consumption of high carbohydrate foods bread, rice, quinoa because vegan diet is about vegetables, bread,,nuts, rice, quinoa, substitute meats, vegetables and some other bullshit which most of this products are processed in order to sell them as a" vegan product " and they costs more usually.
For example, I need to eat my lunch ( lets say that i can get 100 g protein for my lunch- which is only my meat 100g of protein basically-equals to 500g of meat)....again...How you can combine all this vegan foods to reach 100g protein a meal?
Bro you try to refer food and you talked about teaspoons of peanut butter...teaspoons....
My personall opinion is that vegan diet is very healthy but ridicoulous for building muschle.....With pittas, houmous subsitute meats and beans you cant reach your goals

Not hard at all to grow on a vegan diet.....you just have to think outside the box and learn.
Most meat heads are ignorant to the world of plant based proteins....I eat less meat now than ever and feel better for it....
You know some of the biggest animals on earth don't eat meat.
Exactly....yet most people here think you must eat meat to grow!
YourdadThis argument with big animals on earth that don't eat meat is for laughs bro
We are totally different from animals...We are design in a different way. Our digestive systems are totally different. For example cow is a big animal and eat grass...but cow eats that grass 12 hours a day.
Many experiments that done on animals in humans the results were completely different.....The whole point is that we are completely different from animals...do not compare animals with us
hahhaah it was a joke bro
Yourdadhahahhaahha thumps up! bro vegan arguments are very interesting sometimes...half of the planet become vegans lately!! LOL
Soon they will open a new bodybuilding category VEGAN BODYBUILDING
He asked what foods was high in protein and high in calories .you told him it's not possible so yes it's bad advice
Yourdadyou miss the point completely....the foods you referred and generally all the " vegan" products are not high in protein comparing the meat products. The example I gave with the fruits it was a kind of joke to aware him that reaching high amount of protein with vegan diet is impossible...you need to eat ridiculous amounts of portions. Assuming that from 100g chicken breast I receive 24 g of protein there is nothing to be discuss.
Furthermore the whole point is the diet......building muscle without meat is bad advice.
Building muscle on a plant based diet is very doable !!!if you would do a little research you would find out
Yourdadwith a lot of effort everything is doable! the point is to get the maximum results from something. Vegan diet is delicious and very healthy with awesome recipes....Do you think that I like to eat all that chicken and meat every day....But I have to in order to get the necessary nutrients
Considering that my last meal which is at 10 o clock contains 800g meat and I need to sleep soon because if I dont I would walking around the house looking for food in the middle of the night. I need to eat a whole table of vegan recipes to fulfill my hunger especilly on my last meal
