Hate veggies, need help
So... the topic kind of says it all. But to elaborate, I'm not talking about they just aren't my favorite thing in the world, I'm talking the smell of cooking broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts etc literally makes me nauseous.
Sometimes it's the smell, sometimes it's the texture. If it's texture, just biting into something can make me gag. For example peas, green beans, cooked carrots all have the texture thing for me.
To stay (somewhat) healthy I take a multivitamin to help make up for not eating much in the way of vegetables.
I do like peppers for some freakish reason. Every kind I've ever tried... hot Asian peppers, wax peppers, green/red/yellow bell peppers, jalapeƱo, serrano... you name it, I like it. Spicy, not spicy, doesn't matter. Although I do try and not eat too much of the extreme hot stuff.
So with all that said... I know veggies are a major staple of most diets. I'm looking for suggestions of ways I can either overcome this strong aversion to most vegetables, or compensate for not including them in my diet.
Thanks in advance for any and all help!

you could stop being a little bitch and have some self discipline .
Life is full of things we don't like i.e. clocking into a job every day that makes you miserable.
Eating veggies is apart of a balanced necessary diet , if you cant bring yourself to force down some veggies then I don't hold out much hope for you in anything else . Bodybuilding is all about diet and eating things you don't want when you do not want them , and here you are acting like a toddler refusing to eat your veggies.
Grow up or get out.
for the love of God this is 3 years old who the fuck dug this up.
Try Hypnosis therapy! Some people have really good results with that
Chuck super greens in your nutribullet with apple juice and drink.
The apple juice makes it taste good.
celery and peanut butter
Get a juicer and mix it with fruit juice
I have the same issue blending it with something to cover up the taste would be the best way to go
basskiller89While supplements are not nearly as effective as whole food
You can surely obtain micro nutrient and fiber intake values through supplementation
Ok do thing you just add vinegar to overcome the smell of the veggies you hate the most.
Blend those damn veggies up n drink it....
Try v8 with hot sauce...
Chikn broth, carrots, green beans, peas.....blend it up pour it over shredded chikn....whalah.....chikn veggie soup!
Damn, why didn't I think of that? Excellent idea Drock!
That will take care of any texture issues I have, and cooking smells that make me nauseous if I just blend it up raw. Appreciate the the help everyone.
Some V8 and hot sauce sounds amazing, as well as the chicken soup idea. I'll be trying that out VERY soon.
Until you can man up and eat them you can take plant sterols in the mean time they will help you out a little nutritionally. You can get them at vitamin world.
Red cabbage and Splenda (if required).
If you don't like that you should pack up and go home right now.
Or as giardap stated there is a separate forum for the likes of you.
RustyhookerColon issues might be worth researching

And the ladies lounge sounds like a nice place. I'll never turn down hanging out with a bunch of sexy in shape ladies!
Damn I love greens. I used to not like them as a boy but I love every vegetable. I think I really like them because I know the benefits of them.
Pepper sauce on greens is hard to beat.
Just shovel them in, hold your nose and keep telling yourself how huge you're gonna be.
If that fails follow directions below
There is a separate ladies forum you know
Greens powder does the job you can pick it up anywhere online
mix it into any shake and its not even noticeable
Orange triad + greens was the best vitamin shake I've ever used. Just got too pricy
Peppers are technically fruits, just like tomatoes and avocados are.
How about lettuce?
Lettuce and most leafy greens you can put in a salad are fine with me. Usually use some type of vinaigrette to keep it healthy. I can definitely up my intake of salads with romaine/spinach etc. I know iceberg lettuce is mostly just water with very little nutrients
Also, no wonder I like peppers then lol
Romaine lettuce tastes almost the damn same as iceberg and is much more nutritious. I mix it with a tin of chunk light tuna and 13 grams of mayonnaise, which is a surprisingly good source of healthy fats.
