What are your must have supplements?
ad
Hello guys, i been here on the phone reading forums about AAS cycles and i was wondering if some of you actually still believe in supplements or if you simply relly all your gains to the AAS's.
So my questions is, wheter you use roids or not, which one(s) are your must have supplements that you just can't go without & why?

Here's what I use:
1. Multi vitamin (morning)
2. Vitamin D (morning)
3. Omega 3 (morning)
4. A standard off the shelf product from pharmacy for healthy joints (morning)
5. Creatine (morning)
6. Beta alanine (pre workout)
7. BCAAs supplement (during workout)
8. Whey protein (post workout)
I don't like an off the shelf pre workout coz they have most of the time stimulants and they mess up my sleep coz I like to train late after getting most of my meals in. These are so basic tht my timing alone would indicate why I take em.
Over looked but probiotics are a must have to aid in keeping your furnace burning strongly or otherwise known as your gut. Needs all the help it can get breaking down the copious amounts off food we all eat. You'll get most of the help you need eating plenty of vegetables to cover myself I take 2 probiotic tablets a day (probiotic drinks serve little help as much is destroyed before it hits where it needs to go).
Other supplements include:
Multivitamin
Zinc
Liv52
B complex
Taurine
Plenty of fish oils.
Do you have a brand you like or feel that's effective. I've read that many brands are bunk.
Is nature's made a good brand??
Most of nature's made stuff are pretty good from what I've read, but they can be expensive and some of their stuff I feel are underdosed.
Thanks for responding now I just order from amzon nature's made magnesium calcium an zinc all in one for 8.99 think it was bad idea forgot what dosage it was but it is a good price i hear a lot of the times its best to get Supps individually is that true
I don't know that one specifically, but it sounds ok. Like I said, most if their stuff is good quality. I guess it all depends on what substance your getting. I have certain brands I like for certain things and not for others.
Difficult question. I buy most from companies which use eBay, I know what you must be thinking but on the .uk site there are many legitimate companies selling through eBay which have massive amounts of customers (also on their own site). I also look for quality certificates from respected awarding bodies. The other useful 3 things are it gets shipped right to your door, you can buy in great quantities and it's ridiculously cheap. I pay £20 for 1000 fish oils and for the exactly the same product it would cost £90+ on the high street. Sorry to write an essay with a lot of what you didn't ask, I thought it might come in handy :-)
Sorry I wasn't more specific. I was wondering what pro-biotics do you recommend? That is the stuff I have read varies wildly as per quality/potency.
Lactobacillus acidophilus is what I go with. Which I believe is the universal probiotic most on sale.
I believe the trick is to buy the probiotic in a capsule that will pass through the stomach (where most is destroyed) and that will be released in the digestive system where it's needed. Drinks, yoghurts and powders I wouldn't waste my hard earned money on
Great info. I've heard of that and will try finding some capsules to try out. Thanks.
No worries. Also I skimmed through your profile and saw you were looking for a healthy midnight snack.. have you tried 0% Greek yoghurt with a scoop of your chosen flavour of protein powder? Tastes amazing and limitless possibilities.
You did what!!! Just kidding...
I heard that once, but I haven't tried it yet. That sounds pretty good. I love Greek yogurt and some yummy protein would be tasty with it. I'll give it a shot tonight. Thanks again.
I always use supps to compliment the test and the exercise. And rest.
Was gonna make a post of this myself
Well i beat you to it. Hope we can all learn something new here. Cheers
Good Quality Multi Vit and Mineral
A high quality Magnesium and Zinc [taken separately]
Whey Protein Hydro for PWO
Leucine as its a remarkable supp for increasing PS every meal with as little as 2g being required
Creatine and Beta Alanine as together they are amongst the best supplements combined to give good strength increases
A high quality Anti Oxidant
3/4 Krill Oil capsules per day
But the best one is FOOD! Good quality cooked and raw food.
Krill Oil is great! I take it along with my fish oil capsules.
Good info. Agree with you on food, altough sometimes access to food becomes hard due to work
