+ 1 Recipe for Homemade Protein Bars

My husband LOVES these. This is a recipe from the 1001 Low-Carb Recipe book by Dana Carpender

Ingredients:
-1 jar (16 oz) natural peanut butter with oil and all
-2 cups vanilla whey protein powder
-Splenda, stevia or whatever choice sweetener you prefer
-Unsweetned shredded coconut (optional)
-Sugar free chocolate bars (optional)
-Unsweetened cocoa powder

Thoroughly combine peanut butter with protein powder. It should make a stiff crumbly dough.

Mix sweetener with a little bit of water and sprinkle it on the dough to mix it evenly.

Once its mixed shape into 2 inch bars. You should get about 25 of them.

After you can rolls them in the coconut, or put the chocolate bars in the middle, or in the cocoa powder. Which ever you like best.

Each bar contains 4g of carbs and 20g of protein
