Is This Expired Whey Worth Using
So I found two 4.8lb containers of Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey under my bed that I forgot all about. Don't even remember putting them there. Anyway it says it was manufactured 12/14 and expired 12/16 which was 5 months ago. Is five 5 months expired whey worth using or should I just charge it to the game and chuck it? I hate to throw away damn near 10lbs of protein. It's obviously been stored in a dark cool place and for the record I'm not on cycle or n a situation where I have to count every single macronutrient, I'm a hard gainer. Certainly the stuff wasn't good the last day of November and then suddenly at midnight, when it became December, it went completely worthless in an instant right lol. How much do you think it has degraded in the 5 months it has been expired?

As long as no moisture got to it I don't see why it won't be gtg. I've down plenty of powders past the expiration date never had an issue.
It's the plastic that expires not the product.
I'd have nooooooooooooooooooo problem guzzling that down!
Howeverrrrr.......

That's all I buy is expired protein. I get it off ebay ofr super cheap. Nothing wrong with it at all. Use it up
I've found 2yr old protein jugs or bags and still consumed it.very frugal and hate waisting money. Never got sick or felt and different.
You'll be fine! They only put the dates on for sales purposes. Everything that gets consumed has to have best before dates on. I found some the other day that was a year out but couldn't bring myself to throw away and everything was fine. It's still safe to consume so why not. But if you are getting rid feel free to mail it to me ;)
Oh I know it's safe as far as it wont hurt me. My concern is more is it still effective lol
I would say so mate, I would go for it.
