Im using BCAA as intra w/out. I dose pre W/out shake with dextrose monohydrate and glutamine. Post w/out shake is the same and contains creatine monohydrate. I take 4 or 5 fish oil caps with meals and Optimum Nutritions MV.
A GOOD multi, at least two grams of quality fish oil, whey isolate...those are the essentials in my opinion. You can always do extra vitamins, milk thistle for liver, BCAAs and casien but i would say there are only a few essential supps
Vitamin D is very important - Healthy fats are important like flaxseed/Coconut oil. Definately Omega 3. Phytosterols and Co-Q10 for Cholesterol mantainence and free radicals. I juice a ton of raw spinach/red leaf lettuce because of the oxygen the leaves give off is food for the muscles to feed off of. It also really wakes you up in the morning - B6 - Arginine - Luecine - Glutamine (BCAA) as stated below - My personal opinion protien powders dont work as well as a well prepared chicken breast
Don't forget that vitamin c is a powerful anti-inflamant, and can help if you're sore. I also avoid alcohol like the plauge, and of course drink lots of water. Keep that body hydrated and clean while you juice!
I think if there was one study using muscle biopsies proving it works I would look into it, and I would also speculate on cycle glutamine would be worthless as AAS would do a good job if cutting for muscle sparing and nutrient partitioning, and while bulking it would have little purpose anyways. I would advocate supplementing BCAA's and Fishoils, and perhaps even a Green supplement when you can't get some good dark green veggies in more than once a day.
i use the same if i were off cycle or on:
whey, casein, fish oil, vit. c, iron, multiv.,b-complex, creatine mono, melatonin...i think thats most of it.

Liv-52 too can't hurt if on serious orals.
Any side effects from it? I'm planning on taking it for my upcoming cycle.
None that I've experienced from a reasonable dose.
