Why did you start using? Noob question
I'm thinking about starting gear. I didn't think there was so much that went into taking steroids. I think the site does a really good job of guiding users, from what I've seen since joining. Kind of like scare tactics, I guess it worked because it's slowed me down.
Anyways, I'm interested to hear why you guys/girls started using. I wanted to know if my reason to use aligned with most of the steroid users. So I can put together if my reasons are valid.
1. I want to be more- I've always been big naturally and weightlifting is fun for me, I go about 4 or 5 nights a week after work. Depending on my energy levels. I want to be stronger, faster, I don't know who wouldn't?
2. Body composition/sex appeal- females love a good looking guy. Not every girl loves a jacked guy, but most still fall for the broad deltoids that stick out with a shirt off.
3. Also forgot to mention, I've got some weak LCL knee ligaments. Doing granny excersices right now to get them stronger. Would the gear help them?
All these things I could live without. I can still go to work, hangout with my friends, see my family and be content. But I wouldn't mind getting the benefits of steroids. So are my reasons valid, worth it? And what are some of your reasons?
Thanks, typed on phone, excuse the mistakes please!

RustyhookerHere's a possible comparison for you. Ever see the dudes after boot camp? Ripped, cut, chisled....Just from busting ass. No gear.
Ever see some of the dudes coming outta the pen? Big as a house. No gear, just sweat value and eating.

So do you really need it?
bigmurphThe reasons you mentioned why you would use you can achieve those goals without using any compounds. Especially at your age just lifting and eating right will get you plunty of pussy. The fact is if you take gear and things go wrong and your getting girls because of your muscles but your dick doesn't work then what do you do. Im just trying to say keep lifting and you will be fine when you start to feel like an old man then consider using until then you have plunty of natural test to achieve the goals you want. Good luck to you stick around you can learn alot here about workout plans and diets that will help you achieve your goals without the gear.
Welcome to eroids brother.
+1 by the way for having the smarts to ask questions before you just start using.
Well you certainly come across as intelligent which is extremely refreshing on here with most of these morons that have been posting.
But yes not only is it site policy not to give AAS advice under 25, in general it makes a lot of sense to not use unless you have the genetics to become a top pro and have already chosen that route. For everyone else it can permanently trash test levels, fertility, and wreak havoc on you physically and mentally. PCT is a special kind of hell where not only you feel awful but suddenly are weaker and fatter too no matter what you do. Not to mention it stays that way if you fail to recover properly. Just be careful and make sure you really think about your choices whatever you do.
As for why I started, genetically low test and on trt so I had nothing to lose lol. Figured why not augment that since I was already screwed for life.
Your question about joint repair is complicated, but in general no most AAS will not help your connective tissue. They will however make the muscles pulling on that tissue stronger and lead to further injury. Hope this helps and feel free to ask me or others anything not gear-related
You'd do well to heed the advice from other posters here. Exercising a little restraint, especially at your age, will make a tremendous difference in your quality of life a decade from now. You ought to learn anything and everything you can about nutrition, supplementation and training before considering usage. Hell, I've been in this game for 11 years, still natural to this point, and I refuse to augment my body with anything until I'm certain there is nothing else I can do to improve both strength and composition through a drug-free means. If that isn't transparent enough for you, allow me to be emphatic; Between modifications to your current workout regimen, the refinement of diet and also heightened training intensity, you have all the components necessary to realize your ambition's. Perfect the aforementioned and you may come to discover that you never needed anything in the first place.
bigmurphGreat reply
You're 21. Your body is producing enough hormones, rest is up to you. Don't do anything until you're at least 25. Additionally go and read forum rules again.
TronJoined.....TODAY.
Says you're 21 in profile. So I guess from what you learned since joining TODAY you are holding off on aas?
As of right now yes..
When I typed that I expected this response. I've been looking over for awhile but decided to make an account. Thanks for the response!
TronYou won't find help or discussion directly to you at 21 years of age from the community about aas but your welcome to discuss diet and training and research on your own. We have a 25 and older policy on aas guidance. Under 25 we can't offer advice. Welcome to eroids.
Alright back to surfing and no responses lol
TronI was 20 years old when I started so I understand man..trust me.. It resulted in permanent low T levels and TRT for the rest of my life and can never have children.
That's serious. I'm probably going to keep training naturally until I'm ready for the consequences that could come. Thanks for being honest about it.
TronYeah, there's an actual reason to not start young..a few other reasons as well. It's completely up to you but man, you pay for it later in life..
