Show on April 12th

ad

Hi All,

I was wondering how long should i stop using test propionate if i have a physique show on April 12th? I am currently a little less than 4 weeks out.

White Bolt's picture

you should do the show anyway just to see where you stand against the competition, and use that to drive your goals for the next year to come back better sculpted in the areas you lack

Hey Details,

i appreciate the advice my man! I am still prepping like I am going to do the show...so 4 weeks out and you totally read my mind. I was planning to see how i stacked up to the competition and then boom work my ass off and sculpt up the areas i need to bring out and wont be stepping on stage again til i'm 100 percent ready! thanks brother!

You also will be able to get additional comments from the judges and learn what they are looking for. Be sure to ask for your scoring sheets.

Hi Flash,

I am 26, 5'7, 175 (down from 175), and I will not be drug tested because this is a men's physique show. I was running test propionate EOD with a split of 30mg in the morning and 30mg at night of anavar. I been on this cycle since January 27th and was wondering if i should stop now or stop in two weeks in order to be prepared (no water retention and drier look) by April 12th.

I saw this earlier and walked away, its impossible for me to comment on a pre-comp physique without a current up to date photo to check his condition right now.... impossible for anyone to advise blindly at this stage in his game.

NOTIME2SLEEP's picture

Sorry about that man, I probably should have done that before I asked what to do. I will upload a couple pictures and show you asap. Thanks Flash and Viking, appreciate the help.

Brother.... i dont want to be too harsh with you here, ok you look alright for the beach but for competition you have some serious work to do my bro to get that body in some sort of balance... at the moment you are all abs with very little shoulder/trap development and them arms and legs are way lacking in both size and shape!..... i cant advise you not to carry on the the show but if i was you or you where vone of my pating pupils i would advise a year out to lay down some serious mass to build that body into a double inverted pyramid then carve some shape out of the new raw mass to make you really a contender and not just stage packing.

I cannot be nothing but honest when it comes to physiques bro, this is my passion and my life and i could never make anyone wear rose coloured specs just to make them feel good....... brutal honesty is what makes me thrive bro and i hope it does the same for you...... time is on your side little brother! use it well and become the master of your own destiny...... you have a nice base to build from, in your condition every little improvement will show massively .. so i say slow your roll and build for a while then hit the stage has a potential winner. +3 for putting the pics up bro and good luck Smile

my man, I truly appreciate the honesty and the advice that you have just gave me will only help me get to where i envision myself being. I have pretty strong shoulders with like presses and stuff but i will definitely work on putting on some mass and carving out my rear and medial delts. I also believe my upper chest is lacking; therefore i will be focusing more on my upper chest now that i will NOT be stepping on stage. Your guidance has only helped me because i have been kind of iffy about it in the first place. You werent being harsh, you were just being real and looking after me even though I am someone who you dont even know, and i greatly appreciate that. Now, I want to ask you for the next piece of advice since you have a ton of knowledge and I want to learn that knowledge. What cycle would you recommend for me to have that "potential winner" physique? I understand that taking this stuff is not going to help me if i dont put in the work, but believe me when i say this, I am ready to do this.

One thing is this statement you just made. "My shoulders are pretty strong". You can throw that way of thinking out the window. There a significant difference between working out for strength and working out for muscle shape and size. This is where I'd start. You will also need to feed correctly to account for the added mass. You will grow if you eat right and exercise the right way.

You look good bro. Keep learning and working hard. +1 for posting the pic
