+ 2 possible plateau - gains stopping
Hi guys,
Would like some input on my current issue.
This is my 5th cycle in total with the last one being about 5 years ago, i am 39 years old and based on various formulas about 1-2 kilos away from my natural maximal genetic muscle gain.
Currently on 500mg cyp and 600mg of EQ EW. Started with 4 weeks of 100 Prop EOD as well. HCG 2 X 250iu per week and Arimidex 0.5 EOD the cycle was a proposed 16 weeks.
Starting weight was 225lbs (102 Kg) at 14.9% BF, currently at 243lbs (110 Kg) with 16.1% BF.
Started out eating up to 4,500 calories per day and aiming for at least 300 grams of protein within that.
By the end of week 7/start of week 8 i had made 243lbs and i seem to have been stuck on that now as i approach the end of week 10 - so almost 3 weeks.
I have read about myostatin levels increasing and therefore inhibiting growth so i figure this could be one of the problems.
I am also aware that i have gained so i need to eat for the extra that i have gained, so this week especially i have been taking in at least 500 calories more per day which includes another 50 grams extra of protein - so trying to hit 350 every day.
I will of course monitor the scales closely this week and the fat gain and that will hopefully tell me more as well.
Training wise i do 4 week blocks working out mon though friday with one body part trained twice a week per 4 week block.
Everything as far as i can see in regards sleep and training has been on point. The diet of course could be the issue but i probably more concerned about the myostatin issue.
If people think this could be the case would it worth dropping down to say 250mg a week of test for 4 weeks to try and let levels drop and then bump them back up again to finish the cycle?
If myostatin is the issue what really is the point of Equ for 16 weeks? Maybe the Equ will start kicking in around now or the next week and i will see some change but you feel like you are up against it when the body fights back.
Would appreciate any ideas or feedback from others members and obviously their own experiences with long cycles.
Thanks

Thanks guys for all your input. As suggested going to bump up the calories and see what happens. Will take this week off the gym to let my elbows recover a little as they have taken a beating the past 10 weeks or so.
I will focus on the food and see what happens, already going to the toilet 5/6 times a day as it is LOL, might as well move the gym in there!
Thanks again
RustyhookerYou put on 20lbs fairly solid. So whats your goal because you cant have both MORE mass and LESS fat without losing/gaining one or the other. If its fat loss then lower that test to 300. Let the eq work its magic. Eq should just be heating up soon for uou. You'll know when it hits. If you hit sub 12% then hit mast prop til 2 days before pct. 150eod is plenty to finish you hard and sharp!
If bulking then you gotta get the protein up to 400....i hit 400 on cycle and I'm only bout 190. Jack up the good carbs and you'll bulk. Defi.itly you need 30-45mins cardio in FATBURN range to combat extra cals turning to fat.
Ultimately.....20lbs solid in 10 Weeks is HUGE!!!!! I dint think you'll gain more mass per se....but if you hit option 1 the fat drop and lil added lean mass will have you hulked. Get that protein up!!
If you didn't front load the eq it's still coming. Week 10 is when I really saw and felt it really kick. Tough to be patient but that is eq!
There have been studies done in which it is shown that creatine lowers myostatin levels. Here is an article I found http://www.musculardevelopment.com/component/content/article/135-supplem... You can find more information by googling "creatine reduces myostatin levels"
41 years old; I also thought I hit my plateau with everything being on point; or so I thought. My training was hindering my gains because i never "switched" it up. I stuck with the basics and although it helped me pack on some good muscle I was not blowing up. I started doing different types of sets like pyramids and then failure reps and after 3 weeks I noticed a difference and so did my friends. Try switching up how you work out and then if you train specific muscle groups the same each week reverse it. The way to shatter the plateau is to "shock" your muscles. Also your muscles are made of 70% carbs and 30% protein so up your carbs a little which will also help growth. I just came off a long cycle and my gains started to come later on when I tried out the shock method and doing a 70/30 ratio of carbs to protein, still doing 1.5 grams per body pound
