Nutrition and Cycle Information needed (Body Builder)

ad

I am trying to get into bodybuilding. I have been lifting for 10 years but after getting a trainer I can honestly say that I have been only lifting right for the last 2 years.

I am 34 years old

6'1
245 lbs
19% BF

My Goal is
225 lbs
<10% BF
Ripped while keeping Mass

Diet / Program
0400 - 0530 - Gym M-F (1 Major Body part a day)
0700- oatmeal and eggs
0900- Protein Shake
1100- Chicken / Brown rice
1300- Protein Shake
1700- Chicken/ vegetables
1900- Cereal (I know its wrong)
2000 - Tread Mill
2100- Casein Protein

Above is pretty much my day...you can sometimes throw in some candy here and there. This is an Honest assessment.

I use ISO 100 Protein and/or Muscle Egg, Leucine supp, Xtend BCAA, Glutamine, Karbolyn for my carbs after my workout, CLA, L-Carnitine, Fish oil, Niacin, Ribose, L-Arginine,

Above is what I use on a daily basis. I have decent results but its time to get serious. All comments welcome. I need feedback

I am taking 220 grams of protein and 1 gallon of water a day. Just started this without cheating 1 week ago. I would say that was disciplined but I wasn't. I was eating a bowl of cereal here and there.

All suggestions are welcome. I am currently natural. I need serious input by people with experience with nutrition and cycles. I want to start competing early next year. Alot of help needed. I have pics if you would like to see them, if it helps to cater a program and cycle for me. My strength is pretty good. Not exceptional but pretty good.

It's hard to believe that with a diet like that and daily cardio you are 19% BF. Have you been following that regime for a while? You mention a week, but do you refer to the time you've been on the diet? You are tall like me and heavy, you need a lot of food just to maintain your weight, so unless you eat huge amount of every meal (which I doubt) I don't see why you don't lose weight. Or maybe you have?
I would throw in some healthy fats, like olive oil and / or nuts (almonds are great), more calories but they needed for you bodybuilding purposes. Remember that this is a long term business.

Carlos1972,

I am on this diet now serious for the past week. I have been trying to do this the whole time but I was missing meals and had to eat junk food to keep up calories because I had tooooo many meetings to go to. My work schedule is manageable now and I am able to adhere to the diet listed above. From what you stated I should see pretty good results, but in what time frame do you think.

I was inquiring about if I should start a cycle or not, but from what I am getting is that I should stay natural a little longer until I get down to about 15% BF..what do you think. I was suppose to try and compete this JUNE in the NOVICE division which I know I can win, but right after I want to be able to step up to the amateur division. At my current physique I cant. So I am going to take a year off and start competing next Mar 2013...

I need nutrition help and cycle help if you don't mind. If we are the same specs, your look better on you.

Stay natural A LOT longer you need a good solid year of strict dieting and training. Your bf% is way to high and don't become reliant on AAS get the disciple down then come back and talk about a cycle.

LOL, no no I know there are certain people in every room. So I wanted to receive a variety of comments so that I can evaluate them and stream line my program.

Cut calories and have 3 HIIT sessions a week lasting around 30 minutes each. Cut out sugar, and processed food. Keep lifting once you hit 15%bf start thinking about a cycle. There are several posts on diet around the forum that can help you with that. You should be able to loss the 4% naturally and still have plenty of time to cycle before next year roles around.
