Need some solid advice.
Hey guys, first and foremost I am new to cycles, terminology and gear. So in your responses try and keep that in mind.
I am 30yrs old, lift 4 days a week, play soccer twice a week and go cycling nightly. I am 165lbs soaking wet and can never get cut, ripped, big etc, no matter how much protein I eat nor how many days at the gym.
I was preparing for my first cycle and have 160 var on hand. Before I started it, I have read you should go get labs done so I did. My doctor called me back and said I had low T, barely running at 300. I have an appointment this morning to discuss test shots that he would administer.
What dosing should I try to be convincing him of? What frequency?
If I do get the shots, what does that mean for my original var only cycle? Do I take them together?
Besides the test shots, daily vitamin, protein, var, milk thistle, what am I missing?
I have zero idea when to take all this stuff, how much to take, when to start, stop and what else I need or should worry about.
Need some help.
Thanks guys.

Just got those results this weekend, have not set up a follow up yet. Free test was 87.2.
Morning t bloods came back at 485. Afternoon 325... opinions?
So, did he order injections? Are you going for labs, again, anytime soon? Hypothetically speaking, your t level is probably staying in the mid 300's, and 485 is still low for your age. What was your free test?
Had the appointment today. The dr is sending me for bloodwork that has to be completed by 9am tomorrow. He said my last labs were pulled at 2 in the afternoon and those levels could be off. He said if tomorrows bloods come back bad he will atart me on injections. I will keep you guys updated and also let you know the brand and dosing.
I will hold off on the var for now, I think not mixing things and seeing how I react to the test is a solid idea.
A solid diet sounds like a great idea, anyone have a good reference? My current diet consists of just eating everything in site.
Med what's bmr? I do not have all the terms down.
Thanks for the advice and following. I will keep you updated.
Basal Metabolic Rate...when you calculate this formula below, the number will be your maintenance, which is the amount of calories it takes to maintain your weight. However, if you are active and want to gain weight or lose weight at the same time, then figure in your activity/exercise/workout. So, if you want to lose weight you would eat your maintenance without an activity adjustment. But, if you want to gain, then you adjust your calories say 1000-2000 calories over maintenance with activity calculated. I use 1.55 because my activity scale fits that profile. For example, use the BMR formula below and fill in your info needed. Remember you have to do the parenthesis first.
66 + (6.23 x wt in lbs)
+ (12.7 x ht in inches)
- (6.8 x age in yrs)
When I used your stats, I got 1779 maintenance. I don't know how active you are or what your workout routine is like. But, if you use 1.55 your daily caloric maintenance is 2757 calories. So, if you want to gain weight then consume 3757-4757 calories a day that consist of a good macros (protein (250g), CHO (400-500g), good fats (120g).
What these guys said vvvvvv and to build on that. Don't expect it to be magic at first the long esters take 5 or 6 weeks to kick in and then there's a little magic lol. Seriously though it takes a little while to really start feeling it. You will have to have a little patience. Don't start until you've researched the the things novice had mentioned. Take some time to really work on a solid diet and you'll be a better man for it.
Those are the guys to listen to for sure.
You will get better advice here on eroids, than any healthcare practioner could ever give. Did he order the injections for you? You can find out your BMR, and start putting a diet together with good macros of protein, carbohydrates, and good fats.
AnonOK first of all theres no rush right ? I mean youve survived 30 years without so dont jump in to this without being ready. It took me a year of reading before I took my first injection.
Dump the var (well save it or give it to a friend) you do not need it and I dont think it will help you.
Theres not much your going to tell a Dr thats going to get him to give you enough to run a cycle. They seem barely willing to give you enough to keep your blood levels stable.
Forget about any orals all together for now, just research testosterone, Aromatase inhibitor and PCT thats it !!! Once you have completed a cycle like that then you can begin to consider anything else.
Oh and the reason why you need to only use testosterone is that you are completely unfamilliar with how your body is going to react, so you need to run this one base compound (wghich you will forever use in all future cycles) to learn what your body is going to do. If you add others in and start getting some ugly sides, its going to be twice as hard to fix because you wont be sure where its coming from.
I am telling you your new name should be Novicemyass rather than Noviceaas:) Great advice +2
NEVER DO ORAL ONLY CYCLES!!!
That shit is torture bro. You always need a test base. If i was you, now that your getting your testosterone under control with testosterone shots, i wouldnt bother cycling for a while. Because now your body is getting more testosterone, your going to find it alot easier to build muscle and lose fat. Trust me just keep taking your test shots, going gym and following a training routine and you will grow. Low T makes it almost impossible to build muscle which is why you didnt have much luck before. Glad you got it sorted bro
