Need Help With Cycle / What to take etc.

ad

I have a few questions for the Pro's..

I'm a 42 year old male. I lift with a personal trainer Monday through Friday then cardio for at least an hour. Saturday's I just do cardio and Sunday it's a rest day.

I have 26% body fat and I need to drop that number to 15% or less.

I currently take Testosterone C, Testosterone P & HGH. I was taking Dbol & Deca but stopped because of the water retention and weight gain.

I really want to build a mass amount of muscle but I must cut my body fat. My trainer is up my ass on the body fat issue and I'm doing the cardio as well as sticking to his difficult diet.

What should I use to build muscle & cut body fat? How much? How often? What should I expect? Thank you so much for your time in this matter.

Sincerely,

Oklahoma Sooner

I've been on one cycle and have started my second. I use for 6 months then off for 2 months.

Greg,

I am 42 years old. I have been lifting with a professional trainer who was a professional body builder and is now a head judge in Oklahoma. I have been using gear for six months so I don't know 1/4 of what I should. I am 6' 3" tall and am 275 lbs. My trainers assistant used a machine that pinches areas on your body and she enters the reading into a computer. The computer showed that with the measurements she entered I'm at 26% body fat. 26% body fat is FAT.... I spoke with my trainer today and asked him what TRT means and at first he said he had no idea. After thinking about it he said it might mean Testosterone Replacement Therapy but he's never heard it called TRT. He's been a body builder for over 25 years.

Now the information that was entered into the computer.... Was it correct? I don't know but she has been measuring body fat for my trainer for six years so I must assume she knows what she's doing.

My trainer told me today to order T3 and that would help me drop body fat. Continuing to use HGH like I have been he said will also help with the loss of some body fat but T3 was the way to go.

Yes, I've gone from 33% body fat to 26% body fat is six months and my trainer is on me like a dog on a bone to drop below 15% body fat if I want him to continue to be my trainer.

I take 2cc of Test C & Test P on Monday and then again on Thursday. You asked why... Why do you think.... I'm 42 years old. I had my testosterone checks before I started lifting to get much more muscle mass and it came back as a total testosterone level of 180. Normal Testosterone level should be around 500. That's why I use Testosterone. What a dumb questions.

Dropping 7% body fat in 6 months isn't a significant move in the right direction. Yes, it's a move in the right direction but I wouldn't say I'm being impatient.

I will look at my body stats and make changes. I was 308 Lbs but over the last 6 months I've lost a total of 33 Lbs. Again, I'm moving in the right direction but I need to cut more body fat. Norman, Oklahoma doesn't have many professional trainers that have a clue as to what their doing let alone a former professional body builder willing to train someone who will not be competing in shows.

So I still don't know what TRT means unless it means Testosterone Replacement Therapy and I doubt that's correct. I hope I answered all of your questions. I'm happy to give you my phone number if you have time over the next couple of weeks to give me a call and speak with me about what the hell I'm doing wrong and maybe one or two things I'm doing right.

Thanks,

Chad

TRT does stand for Testosterone Replacement Therapy and if you had your levels checked I would think that somewhere along the line the acronym would have come up. If not, I apologise.

Based on everything else you are saying, you're right on track. You're losing weight at an acceptable rate. any faster and you risk losing muscle and could rebound. 50 lbs lost per year is a good year! Keep it up and get a new trainer if he thinks you're not doing good enough.

I ask why because I'm not a mind reader. your original post and conflicting stats did not provide enough to go on. I'm 54. My normal test level is 620 -what would be dumb is to assume yours would be the same or higher being that you are so much younger than I. What about the 30 somethings on this site? Are their T levels also 180?? Dumb would be to give you advice and not know anything about you. Notice I was smart enough to infer the right questions to ask. (FYI Normal Test levels for men your age is over 600)

Keep doing what you're doing. Stay away from the T3 -It is not the way to go. There is no silver bullet.
In my opinion, you are already taking enough test -perhaps too much. But if you are not experiencing any sides who am I to rock the boat.

After you get your BF down to 20% or less you might then try changing things up. In the meantime use this time to learn about cycles, blast and cruise, and the effects of different compounds.

Good luck to you!

Thank you for taking the time to help me in this area. I really hate to change trainers but it might come to that.

Thanks again,

Chad

I'm sorry but I'm having a hard time believing this entire scenario. Now, at 42 years of age, you're also saying you don't know what TRT is?

How much test are you currently claiming to be taking? Why?
You work out six days a week. How long have you been doing this? How much weight have you lost so far?
Your stats say you're 275 lb with only 12% BF (-Damn you're leaner than me, 85 pounds heavier, and only 3 inches taller... what's the problem?)

But here you say you have 26% BF http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/body_fat_categories.htm

Are you sure you're not a freshmen trying to get in shape, you've seen some progress but perhaps getting a bit impatient?

Ok don't take this in a bad way, I'm just going to give you some constructive criticism.

  • WHY are you on gear in the first place when you are sitting at 26%BF?? that number needs to drop to mid teens before you would start using steroids. You are are looking at way more side effects with 26% BF.

  • "What should I use to build muscle & cut body fat? How much? How often? What should I expect?"

If you can't lose weight or build muscle naturally.. how do you ever expect to keep your gains once you are off the cycle, seriously.. you have to get to know your body, trial and error, see what works for you, then when you finally hit that wall.. THEN turn to AAS

  • You say your 42 but this seems to be the mind set of most teenagers.. wanting the results quickly and with as little effort as required. Patience and discipline.

  • Follow your PT instructions and diet.. you WILL end up being in the same position if you cannot get to somewhere without the aid of steroids.

  • What AI are you using? do you have Nolva and Clomid for PCT? did you run caber while on Deca?

•What AI are you using? do you have Nolva and Clomid for PCT? did you run caber while on Deca?

I don't know what AI is so I can't answer that. I don't use Nolva, Clomid or PCT and no I when I was using Deca I did not run Caber with it.

A normal cycle for me is six months on 8 weeks off. I've never lost any gain while off. Thank you for taking the time to comment on my question. I hope the additional information I provided helps give you an idea as to what to recommend.
