Looking for some advice on my next cycle

ad

Long story short it's been about 4 years since I've hit the weights or have taken gear. Had kids and now they are a little older so I finally have some time to get back in the gym and do what I miss most. The last time I was on gear I was taking

Masterson e 250mg a week
Test e 500mg week
Tren e 200mg week

I was up to about 240lbs but was holding a fair amount of water but I was lifting heavy so the diet was out the window.

My biggest question now is can I get by with a smaller cycle where I've had years off? I cycled off and on for 6 years prior to my last cycle 4 years ago. Looking to lean out and have good definition this time. When I was 245 pounds my mobility was quite limited.

Just seeing if anyone has been through the same type of situation. Was thinking test p,winstrol or anavar. Nothing crazy.

You definitely need to take at least 3-6 months minimum to get back in the gym and recondition your body for intense resistance training. If you immediately jump back in on cycle your begging for a soft tissue injury. The gear will allow you to gain substantial strength quickly, but before your soft tissue is conditioned enough to move that much weight after so much time off.

That is a good point. Never thought about that aspect of it. I'm a steel worker and move heavy weights around daily but the compound bodybuilding movements are another story. I'll have my gear soon but I'm in no big rush. I've been down this road before.

Also, please let me know why you would advise no gear. Can still bench 305, diet is on point. I've really only lost a fraction of what I thought I would have since I last lifted. Ultimately everyone will do what they feel is best for them. I've got quite a few cycles under my belt. Trained natty for over 15 years as well. I'm no expert. I just know how my body responds.

Doing a test only cycle. Prop frontloaded with test E.

Fuck yeah man! You can totally get by with a “lesser cycle”.

Because your receptors are fresh, I would start with a simple Test E/C cycle for 12 weeks at 500mg/wk. If you are dead set on having an oral, maybe some anavar at 40-60mg/day for 5-6 weeks. I go against the grain in that I really enjoy kickstarting with anavar for cleaner cycles (where I am recouping and prefer less water retention). Gives wicked pumps, increases blood volume quickly, little to no water retention, doesn’t jack up my joints like winny, and doesn’t jack up my liver enzymes (not sure why, I use pharma anavar so I know it’s legit, I also dose milk thistle).

Weeks 1-6: anavar 40-60mg/day
Weeks 1-12: test e/c 500mg/wk (split)
Week 1: .25mg Adex 2x/wk, totaling .5mg/wk
Week 2: .25mg adex 3x/wk, totaling .75mg/wk
Weeks 3-12: .5mg adex 2x/wk, totaling 1mg/wk

Yes, my adex dosing protocol is strange, but I like stable levels leading up to test levels stabilizing. Also, adex dosing is dependent on everyone individually and the only way to know is to get bloods done. 1mg/wk is a good dose for me at 500mg/wk test. With this cycle you can pack on the meat or drop fat quickly depending on diet/cardio.

More importantly, what’s your plan for PCT? My staples are Pharma HCG, pharma Clomid, pharma nolva.

Thanks for the emphasis on the adex dosing. I tried suggesting "Also, adex dosing is dependent on everyone individually and the only way to know is to get bloods done.", but perhaps it got lost in my longer response to OP. I tend to overwrite responses lol. I get excited to help! Blum 3

I agree though. It's a fine balance between feeling dry and strength. I would rather have slightly higher e2 than crashed for sure.

You should just do a simple Test Cycle with maybe one more compound. Keep it simple when starting!

I have never run EQ or Primo. Leaning towards prop and var.

Not looking to lose 30 pounds. I'm down around 210 already.

Yeah, hadn't weighed myself until today. I dont have a number in mind for weight. I feel pretty good for where I'm at right now to get back on a cycle.

So you've been clean for 4 years. Receptors will be great and will soak up very well. How is your current bodyfat? I was always told to GET AS LEAN as possible before jumping on. Less bodyfat, less complications with issues like estrogen conversion, blood pressure, etc. You can ABSOLUTELY make great gains on a simple TestE and Anavar cycle. Good luck

Guessing body fat is around 15-18% I've been dieting down for the past 2 months preparing for when I'd start back with weights. My body type is pretty good for gaining muscle so I'm optimistic. I was thinking prop at the beginning while waiting for test e to kick in.

I would highly recommend getting that bodyfat lower, low as you possibly and can patiently wait. Keep it simple and Do sustanon instead if you're going to kickstart with prop. 1cc (Sust) EOD along with 40mg of VAR every day and you should be golden

I've debated doing sustanon. Tried it in the past and had decent results at around 700mg a week split into 2 doses. Ran dbol with it and had great strength gains. I do agree on trying to lean down even further.

Test, most likely prop but I've tried them all and at the end of the day it's all the same other than pinning intervals. Wasnt sure about the anavar vs winny debate.
