+ 1 Lean bulk cycle advice

ad

Brand new to the site so if I'm not doing things properly someone please put me in my place. I'm wanting to run my first cycle, preferably a lean bulk cycle.
Currently- 26, 5'8, 180 following a 20 pound cut.
Current diet- eating at maintenance, approximately 3100 calories at a macro split of 42-46% carbs, 34-38 protein, 20% fat on a given day. Outside of morning oats my carbs are almost solely sweet potato/vegetables. Chicken, salmon main protein sources.
Current lifts(not sure if it matters)- DL 500, Squat 425, Bench 340.
Prior use- I haven't taken the leap to gear, but a few years back I was stupid and ill-advised and used a few cycles of Ph's. Slight sign of gyno from puberty/ph mix.

I want something a little more complex than just a starter "test" run. Thinking of going for 16 weeks. Would like some possible cycle suggestions or things to stay away from. Trying to be as educated as possible. Thank you in advance!

Props to your achievements, especially a 20 lbs cut. You look like you know what you're doing. You've provided some great detail, too.

First cycles should be one compound. For you that would be Testosterone Cypionate, or Enanthate. I know you want something more complex, but the complexity of a long ester test presents itself with some challenges. Length of time is 12 weeks. And then there is a PCT about 15-18 days later.

There's a cycle log you can post your cycle on, or some members post here in the steroid cycle section.

Either way, have a look around and get an idea how the site works. When it's convenient, post up a cycle with compound dosage and frequency, along with a standard PCT protocol.

Welcome to Eroids..glad you're here

So first cycle-
1-12 Test E @500-600mgs
4-Start of PCT Aromasin @12.5ed
PCT
Weeks 1-2 Clomid@100, Nolva@40
3-4 Clomid@50, Nolva@20

I've seen differing views on adding an oral like dbol for a first 4 week bump, probably opting against that.

Question as well for blood, I've seen suggestions on here for getting the female hormone panel, is that an issue when I show up to a lab and clearly am not a female? Haha

Just stick with test. No...about the female hormone panel because docs order those for men too.

Conversion and aromatization of test to estro is different for each individual. As you get to that 4th week, you may not need the AI, best thing to do would be get bloods beginning week 5, that way you know your estradiol level without adulteration. Looks good, bro....

The first thing you have to do is get this lean bulk idea out of your head. Here is why:

https://www.eroids.com/forum/general/general-talk/spinning-your-wheels

Bulking doesn't mean getting fat. Bulking means putting on the maximum amount of muscle in the most efficient way. You need a calorie surplus to build any appreciable mass and that is inherently going to include some fat. You need to set yourself up so that your nutrient partitioning is geared more towards lean mass instead of fat gain though. The key here is to start with as low of bodyfat as possible. Here is the proof in the pudding in that respect.

https://www.eroids.com/forum/general/general-talk/scientific-proof-lower...

Now instead of just going with a see-food diet (I do recommend see-food diets for so called hardgainers though) structure your calorie and macro intake to take advantage of your natural insulin production. Try a cyclic bulking approach or a weekly progressive increase in your cals.

I'll take 10lbs of muscle along with 10lbs of fat any day of the week. It is a hell of a lot more difficult to gain muscle than it is to lose fat. That 10 lbs of muscle could take a year or more to put on so if I can do it in 16 wk period instead accompanied with 10 or more pounds of fat, so be it, I am doing it. That extra fat can be shed in a heart beat compared to how long it takes to build quality muscle. So don't short-change yourself with this lean bulk crap. You'll likely be disappointed in the muscle gain department and disappointed in the fat loss department as well.

Nice bro...OP seems receptive and willing to learn..

That's what I'm here for! Definitely want a better understanding of everything before I make any decisions

MedDx's picture

Well you're already doing a great job...here's some more info: (you may know this, already)

1) Line up your PCT....we have a PCT section

2) Research Aromatase Inhibitors

3) Read the yellow stickies that pertain to beginner cycles.

4) Calculate your BMR with and without activity.

Appreciate the response! Another concern of mine is using gear to best suite myself for making sustainable gains. I know I won't keep all of what I put on, but obviously the more the better.

With what you're already starting with, you will do great...make sure you get the bloodwork pre, mid and post cycle. You have any current bloods to look at?

Slowgainz13's picture

Just had bloodwork done a few days ago, waiting to get everything back still

Perfect, brother...send me a PM when you get them uploaded here...

Will you post an unidentifiable pic for us to see? What do you think your BF% might be?

Welcome to Eroids...glad you're here

Loaded a picture into my profile. I caliper at around 9-10% but not sure how accurate I am on that.
