Injury during cycle

ad

I'm in my 3rd week of a Test-C only cycle. I separated my shoulder and had surgery to repair ligaments earlier this week. My question is given that I won't be able to train my upper body should I come off the cycle or continue as planned given that I am still able to do my lower body (leg press, leg curls, leg extensions and seated calf raises). My initial thoughts were to stay on the cycle as gains are gains but wanted some feedback from others with more experience and those that have run into this issue themselves. I have ordered some HGH to hopefully help speed my recovery. Was wondering should igf-1 should be added as well. Any other tips to modify my cycle an training is appreciated.

I would bail on the cycle. Get healed up and then come back and run a cycle when you can give it 100%. Not worth running a cycle when you can't go balls to the wall with the training.

Agree. Silly to risk your health with these hormones if you cant get the most out of it. Heal up and kick ass later.

what about the HGH and LR3 IGF-1 for recovery?

Stick with the GH and IGF. I don't know how much they will contribute to recovery, they are not fast acting, but they do have lots of other benefits, especially as we get older.

so just stop, wait 3 weeks and start PCT?

3 wks on cycle is probably borderline if you need to PCT. You are going to be suppressed but it hasn't been for very long so you should bounce back quickly and you shouldn't have to run a full blown PCT for 4 wks. A mini-PCT would probably do the trick. Couple of weeks could probably do it for you. 50/50 clomid with 20/20 nolva is what I would look at doing a couple of weeks after your last shot to be safe.

Thanks Mak.

Just see how you are feeling a couple of weeks after your last shot. If you are feeling good (libido, energy, etc) you may not even need the PCT. Could confirm with some bloodwork also. If LH/FSH are tanked yet then run a mini-PCT, but I would expect you to be bouncing back pretty quick with only being on for 3 wks.

will do. This really sucks. Thanks again!
