Increase endurance for long run !

ad

i need to run 4 miles in less than 30 min . I rarely done cardio before and i was just focusing on lifting . I am 6.1 with 250 LB with 20 BF .

Is there anything that can help me to boost my endurance i heard eq and var can help is that true ...

You should start out slow. When is the last time you ran 4 miles? You have any current times? You can do HIIT to get in better shape, which is what .50 guns is talking about. In fact, with the correct diet and HIIT six months from now, maybe sooner, your BF may be down 5-10% and your weight down to 210-215 lbs. Then, you can start thinking about running 4 miles in less than 30 minutes. I run a 5K, when I am conditioned, right around 22 minutes and some change. And, I have been running for 15 years. It is no easy task, but if you stay dedicated, determined, and diligent you will meet that goal you want.

This should have been the first question asked. I'm out of practice in this section.

He doesn't need any gear for this. He just needs to get his ass off the couch and running as much as possible before the event (whenever that may be). I would recommend EPO but I can't do that in good conscious since its potentially fatal if used incorrectly. I can recommend GW501516 and AICAR

My thought!

Gear might help a smidgen. Anything the spikes your RBC. More RBC means more nitric oxide production which increases blood oxygen levels. This is the key to endurance. So if gear is your cheat answer then look to something what works fast and increases RBC. Boldenone ,preferably the acetate ester would be the route I'd take. All aas do this but some Better than others. The biggest thing is still your diet and training. You'll need a healthy carb load 2-3 hours prior to the big event. Your training should mimic the event so you should be loading up on complex carbs 2-3 hours prior go training. Still need your protein and essentials but the timing of meals is key. I never made it out of 6 round fights. Didn't get far enough in that venture. But I always trained for 10 round fights. Other than the complex carb load you should train for endurance. Start with a jog. Continue on for 1 mile. Increase speed at the second mile. Go 1/2 max speed. Mild 3 I would do 2 minute sprints (hard running) and slow down to a fast jog for 1 minute. Back to a 2 minute sprint and to a jog. Continue on like this but increase your sprint time by 15-30 seconds every day. I would work my way to 4 minute sprints with 1 minute jogs (rest). Mimicking the rounds in a fight. This is obviously not your goal but training for endurance ,my method will work wonders for your stamina. I don't know how much time you have but get to it. If you don't have much Time I would forget about EQ or bold ace. Simply because most ppl will tell you to run test with it (I didn't when I fought) and since you're a big guy , the side effects of test might weigh in and factor into your performance. Don't look to gear as the answer. If you insist on it, take the time you have to prepare into account and choose something fast acting and that really increases rbc. I would look into a hemodilator (nitric oxide supp). Something with Arginine-alpha keyogluterate. Typical dose is 3000mg/day for a man weight less than 200lbs. You'll find good quality Arginine in pre-workout supps but I would avoid those as most are loaded with sugar. Last thing out need is a sugar crash. N02 works very well. You can find it in any supp store. Problem with that is it takes 7-14 days to load into your blood stream and create stable levels. It really increase oxygen uptake in the blood by dilating the blood vessels allowing more blood to flow through the muscles. Carrying more 02 and nutrients to the muscle. Good luck anyway! Get that diet and training in order.

Winny is a no go for endurance running. Too harsh on joints and most people cramp on it

Nitti's picture

I agree with Juice that winny spikes stamina but it isn't the only thing. And it doesn't work for everyone the same way. Ask Fernando Vargas. :-)

J.Mc.'s picture

How long do you have to train before your run? Var is a definite NO. Maybe EQ but most likely gear isn't the answer. 250lbs is a lot of weight to carry around when you're running

.50 guns's picture

Gear won't do anything short term it will probably make it worst, first loose weight! And run intervals, it means for exemple you run 3 min 80% of your capacity and walk 1min, but it depend from where your starting from, 6.4 km in 30 min is 4.64 min/ km, it is not a easy task for someone your size, for example i can run a 5 km in about 18 min depending on a course, but i been running for years 2-3 times a week
Good luck bro!

If you are running 18 minute 5k times at 220lbs you have world class potential

Thanks, it took 2 years to break the 20 min barier, now bodybuilding is slowing me down, especially at longer distance like 21.1 km but still very strong on the 5 k
