Furstrated with Current Cycle!!

ad

Stats:

40 years old

230lbs

9% body fat (approx)

Ive been running these for 10 weeks:

Test E - 600mg week

Deca - 400mg week

Just added 40mg a day Dbol in week 11.

My weight went up 20lbs in the first 7 weeks and has now completely stalled in the last month. No weight gain at all. Good pumps at the gym, 4000 calories a day - still no weight gain. In the past running this same cycle i gained through-out the 14 week cycle i normally run.

I added the Dbol a week ago to add a kicker at the end of my cycle-still no weight gain.

I also take .5mg eod letrozole and .5mg cab every 3rd day.

Not sure if cortisol levels are high or what.

Any insight or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks you for the excellent feedback. I do appreciate it as it has cleared up some of my mistakes.

Ok tread-m and others. I will drop the Dbol and close out the cycle in quality.

For me at 41 my system runs like a 16 year old, I need carbs and lots of them to put weight on. Try adding 2 cups of brown rice to your diet. If you do physical work you are probably burning a shit load of carbs and calories.

I know I have to eat big to get big.

Any suggestions for appetite enhancers?? I eat 6 meals a day - at least one is protein shake. Somteimes it feels like im force-feeding myself and other days I can eat everything without an issue.

Do some research on ghrp6.... Makes me want to eat the fridge!! Lol pm me if u would like..

Diet is almost all food(chicken, beef, rice, sweet potatoes). Low-sodium with minimal amount of wieght-gain powders.

Sticking strictly to whey protein for additional protein intake.

freeflyer's picture

Diet is 4,000 calories a day but i have only been taking in about 300 grams of protein per day.

So this is the problem. I was intaking 1.5 grams per pound (approx).

20 lbs is fantastic brother! great work and don't stress. I'd like to see pics this 230 @ 9% bf...

Also, Im 6'2 and long limbed so the weight might seem good but that is all relative to body structure and symetry.

No complaints with the gains, just that I seemed to hit the wall at week 7 and compared to past cycles this was somthin that had not happened before.

i usuually gain throught the 14 week cycle although it normally tapers down towards the end of cycle.

Damn 20lbs is a lot bro u really think u can gain more weight at this time?

Also ran HGH (prescribed) for about 2 years with my past cycles but am no longer using the HGH.

freeflyer's picture

Prior history:

Probably about 7 cycles. This is my first cycle in 2 years.

Mostly Deca and some form of Test (cyp or enathate).

i ran the Dbol thinking it would help me with my plateau (had access to compound), but with some of the replies I now see that it might be e2 is too low.

freeflyer's picture

I will drop the AI and see how I respond (bloat, etc.)

And also increase my protein intake immediately.

I was using the letro as a subsitiute for anastrozole(did not have at beginning of cycle) but I do have anastrozole now. Should I use that instead??

I have no water retention whatsever so you may be correct in that my estro is very low. No sore joints or loss of libido though.

eliminate the Dbol you beleive. I normally would not have used it but with my gains plateau I thought it may put me over the hump.

Thanks for all the feedback.

datman's picture

+1.. letro is so hard to dose correctly, low e could definately be the cause.

datman's picture

why letro? could be an estro issue.. cant make gains if your estro is too high or low..
imho... drop the dbol, should be used for a early cycle kicker, not that late in the game... just my .02 on that..

gorillafit is right, up your protien, check you diet, the bigger you get, the bigger you have to eat to get bigger!!! its a visicious cycle we are in Smile

change up your lifting routines- higher reps, lower reps, more dumbbells etc.. mix it all up, works wonders for me when i stop making decent gains.

freeflyer's picture

That is a good point. I have been more focused on calories than protein consumption.

Gorillafit's picture

Try upping your protein, if you don't need it you'll get rid of it.
