Cycle after considerable time off
ad
I’ve been off with injury for well over a year, had my bloods done last January and they were well within range even after no pct. due bloods again this week and then would like to get back on as I have a gym I can use. Was thinking either test e or sust along with eq (never used it before) and maybe 50mg var a day. Serm/ai on hand as always but don’t often need them. What would an ideal dose for eq be? Many thanks guys

AlphaStrength50What was the injury? That's pretty important to know .
AnonYes it is. I started to put my 2 cents in but I cant without knowing what kinda injury it is. For all I know it's blunt force trauma cardiac injury to his heart.
Was a back injury. Had to have mri etc, been back training for a while. Just eager to get back to being better than I was before but I’m honestly struggling for motivation. Lucky enough to have access to a gym but with no one else aloud in it’s got no atmosphere along with no training partner isn’t ideal.
AnonTraining solo with music is my favorite way to train.
A partner just slows me down. Been a decade or more since I trained with anyone. Partners are good when first starting out but once you get to a certain stage they do more harm than good. Might be good for powerlifters though. They typically have longer rest periods between sets and using heavy enough weight where a spotter can come in handy.
I couldn’t train legs without a spotter tbh. I wouldn’t say it’s light weight I’ve previously been pushing but I shouldn’t really be going anywhere near that weight again after my injury. I just find a partner is able to push you and vice versa a little more than I would be able to on my own
RustyhookerSeated extensions, curls etc that puts no pressure on spine...
AnonI don't need a spotter with my training. I have a way of doing things. I can put some decent size dumbbells on my knees and use my knees as I lay back to get them up to flat bench dumbbell chest press. I raise my knees and put them back on my knees to sit back up too. But I'm never lifting so much I might need a spotter. 10 reps or more on everything. It's an athletic disadvantage for me to get too big. I don't talk about what I do as an athlete but it is mostly what I train for.
Perhaps I mis wrote. Whilst I’ve been off I meant in terms of steroids since July 19 I’ve trained since then but just haven’t used gear. I really didn’t want to tbh but feel like now is the time I need to look into another cycle. My cycle history is relatively long and have use various compounds just haven’t used eq and I’m not 100% sure it has a place in my cycle, I think a 300mg cycle of test e and var or tbol would suffice
That’s a much better plan after being off for a year.....if it were me I’d do 3-400 long ester test 50 provi ....nice low to no negitive sides and good results so long as nutrition n gym time is dialed in
There's no doubt, the last thing you need to do is run a cycle. You'll just end up getting hurt again. Gotta go with Rusty on this one.
What Rusty said, make use of your muscle memory and get back in to routine before hopping back on cycle. Something I wanted to add, If you've just come from an injury just run a basic cycle that you've used before don't experiment with a new compound right away.
RustyhookerOff over a year...injury.....how bout 6mo in gym first before you reinjure
