Why shouldnt fat people do steroids?
In a previous post by some guy with 25% body fat many people were telling him not to go on cycle. My question is why? As i understand it many if not all power lifters have a high body fat percentage yet they are all prime candidates for AS. Testosterone not only builds muscle but it helps burn abdominal fat from what i have read.
The only logical arguments i can think of are-
-
High bf causes more testosterone to aromatize into estrogen. However if someone on cycle is taking a moderate dose of an AI this shouldn't be a problem at all.

AS cause an increase in bad cholesterol, and fat people must have high cholesterol levels. This is also laughable. Someone with 25% bf could have lower cholesterol levels than someone with 7% bf if A. They are genetically predisposed to low cholesterol levels. or B. They have good cardiovascular health. or C. Mr. 7% is a smoker.
I honestly can not think of any other possible reason why a fat dude shouldn't go on cycle. In fact if a fat guy and skinny guy were both on the same diet, fitness regiment, supplements, and every other factor was equal as well. Wouldn't the fat guy have greater gains due to the fact that his muscles are getting more energy because he has more fat to burn while he is sleeping?

Ya blood pressure is a non issue. A person can have high blood pressure weather they are dangerously underweight or very very obese and every shape in between. As i said before fat people can have good cardiovascular health.
Y would a fat person forsay take as unless their looking for a majic pill obviousley they don't have enough motivation to get off their ass and cut the fat down . If you can't motivate yourself to loose the fat first then you still won't have the motivation on cycle. It's more about diet then it is anything. I've seen a lot of wasted cycles by people who thought aas was the answer and could eat what they want. now don't forget that your more prone to sides such as bad water retention which I've seen was so bad an ai wouldn't help. Power lifters on the other hand may have a high body fat but believe it or not their in a hell of a lot better shape then just your average fat bastard on the street. A lot of powerlifters do cardio and can run pretty good hence a healthy cardiovascular system and they worked out for years before starting aas. But all in all people are going to do what they want instead of listening to those who have been there so live and learn
Look not everyone is shredded. I for one have around a 15% BF and have been working out for years. I cycled twice in the past and like the way i look. I look powerful and i don't mind the few extra pounds of fat i am carrying around, i like to eat.
All i wanted to know is are there legit medical reasons that a healthy person with a 25% BF should avoid AS, or is it mostly bro science?
You forgot bp issues with 25 % bf a guys bp will skyrocket to very dangerous levels and if they arent careful with salt and food(even if they are) the increased risk for heart attgack and stroke are huge
On the money there bro. BP issues much more likely.
Did u do that or did someone else bc my karma didnt go up?
Honest buddy I can't remember!!! If it was me, should have +1'ed.
true. I have low bodyfat in the 10-12 range and have BP issues all the time, however it runs in the family. I know some people in 25% BF range who have good BP.
Genetics have a lot to do with things like this however it is more unhealthy for a fat person to use steroids. true
