+ 2 Why do people ..?
ad
Why do people not use something like Nolva when doing a cycle of Test E? My understanding is that Nolva will stop the unwanted side effects (like gyno) and will actually help increase your test, so why is this not combined with Test E when your doing a cycle?
I know this is probably a stupid question - and I am guessing that it hinders gains?
Thanks.

Some estrogen is good as it help makes the test more abundant along with keeping off side effects. But nolvadex with shut down estrogen and that is not a good thing. If you want a good compound to use it is arimadex. It gives you very favorable ratios of test and estrogen
No such thing as a stupid question bro..especially when aas is concerned... sensible post that 100s of people will read right here, and learn something... +3 added to your karma for bringing a sensible post to the table
Let your new journey begin here.
Something posted a few months back. Interesting conversation on this topic. I think we covered everything, debated it to death and drew the conclusion that an AI is an essential part of a cycle. Nolva is not a good idea, especially if you are running a 19-nor in your cycle

Well that is interesting, lot's of debating going on there!
But it sounds like SERMS basically stop things like gyno but do not stop the estrogen build up? Is that correct? If that is correct then I guess your right in using AI's while on cycle and then Nolva (SERMS) on a PCT.
Thanks for the help.
Yes, they block the recpetor but leave you with free floating estro which can be a bigger problem. Preventing the aromatization of test is the best option. You do want SOME estro as the post suggests, but not so much that it effects uyou negatively. I recommend aromasin over adex. Start low (6.25 mg eod) and adjust as needed. I am currently using 12.5mg e3d. Works perfect for me. Just like anything else, you need to find your sweet spot
cdaddy7AI bind to the estrogen stronger. Nolva on cycle just blocks estrogen binding on breast tissue it doesn't really solve the estro problem on cycle. Nolva used to b the drug of choice back in the day but now AIs are on the scene and clinically proven to lower the estro levels more effectively. It's really a no brainer bc the AIs are affordable and when u map out the doses and compare It's almost as cheap as nolva/clomid and does wonders for ur gains on cycle if dosed properly
Thanks for that Cdaddy thant makes sense.
But why do most people not use an AI on cycle? Most people only use SERMS on PCT?
Because they don't do their homework properly. Can't see any sensible reason not to run an AI personally.
cdaddy7Lack of knowledge brother and not to mention it optimizes your cycle so u get your hard earned money's worth. U will not find one reputable vet give a cycle plan without it. You go back and look. Zewi, GS, Viking, Fast, and i never give a complete cycle plan without it. It makes a difference and we use it ourselves on cycle. Just do your research on the site GS has wrote topics on it and debating which is better. Everyone is different, that is y we tell u to research the info and make the best decision for u and ur cycle. AI for estro on cycle, the nolva/clomid combo PCT works on keeping estro levels low, but mainly to kickstart your natty production by It's effects on LH and FSH. If you research this compounds u will c exactly what I'm talking about. You r own ur way, now RESEARCH,RESEARCH,RESEARCH

When you're on cycle you use an AI.
When you're on PCT you use SERMs.
