+ 2 Vein gains?

ad

I really want to work on building some more permanent vascularity, wondering what gear can help me build some lasting veins.

I'm talking about thickness here more then anything, you see body builders with these big ropes for veins and I understand low bodyfat and high volume pump workouts have most of the effect on this but wondering if there is something else to it.

Any suggestions or tips are greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't expect much at that BF%. Get closer to single digits and then things should start poppin. If things aren't poppin by then you are pretty much SOL in the vascularity department.

Makwa's picture

Doesn't matter if they are covered up by fat. That is what you need to target to get the vascularity to show through. NO and AAS will make the vascularity more impressive once you are able to see it though.

Makwa's picture

Do you have a lot of loose skin from all that weight loss. That could hide vascularity also.

Makwa's picture

You should be fine then. As you drop the bodyfat you should slowly start to see the vascularity increasing then.

As with most...more vascularity with eq.
Then I found out why (my experience)
my blood was jello...

Low body fat, good genetics, high reps, low sodium, high potassium, Tren/Mast T3

From my experience, more than anything, vascularity is HEAVILY based on genetics. For example, I have crazy vascularity in my arms/delts even on compounds like Test/Deca at 15% bodyfat, while I know others that will be on TREN/VAR/TEST P at 8% and still not be as vascular as I am.

With that being said, anything that jacks up your red blood cell count be a noticeable amount should make you more veiny. (e.g equipoise)

Proviron definitely will help bring them out

I am sure this has been said below, but diet and exercise play the largest factor here. You need to be lean for those veins to pop. Being dry also helps a lot as there is less water beneath the skin to hide them. Gear will help by improving blood flow to muscles and the larger pumps on gear will help push them to the surface, but your not going to be vascular unless you are lean and your not going to "grow" veins like you grow new muscle tissue.

Genetics definately play a massive part - you either have them already slightly then they come through easily within weeks of lifting or you might end up with the odd one after a few years with high BF. I'm one of these low body fat ecto's where they shone through instantly, I kinda hated them but everyone else loved it esp women when ya take your top off! Problem is now I hate them, deadlifts and heavy lifting plus gear have brought big ones out in my neck and across my head so I now have the stan efferding look lol So if I were you I really wouldn't wish for them or try to achieve them.....

press1's picture

Aah mate its disgusting - all up the right hand side to the top Lol Luckily when my hair is bedded in a grade its not as noticeable. Luckily I don't have to see it haha its just others that do!

ECinfidel's picture

Ive got the same problem. Only I keep my head fully shaved, so there's no hiding them. It's just a running joke at this point. My gal loves pointing them out
.

press1's picture

Lol Sometimes I bet you quite like the fact she does as she obviously likes them and finds them manly then other times you feel like saying STFU bit** as it makes you feel all self concious about them haha

Would say .. Lower BF , Fullness of muscle so you will have muscle pushing veins out with lower BF able too see them...

One i'm not trying to promote but maybe slightly being dehydrated would...

Then Gear i would say any cutting steroid mainly due to fuller, hardness n less water retention/ Dryer.

alot of supplements out there say they enhance veins / pump....

Plenty of things too increase the look but could effect goals you may be trying to achieve.

When I started back up lifting, I didn’t have a vein to be seen. After 6-8 months of lifting hard, they started to appear. They continue to appear, even in my calfs.
Genetics defiantly play a role, but working hard and lowering your body fat plays an equal role.

Genetics
Pumps
Low body fat

But I think you already got answer..

Think it’s more of a genetic factor. Of course to see anything you would need to be fairly lean too.
But then again I often see guys in the gym that have them veins before they even touch any weights so assume that’s a genetic factor

I have started focusing on the negative portion of the rep and total time under tension. The lower your body fat, and the total muscle volume are key here.

Ouch, but yea, true.

I think you look great, well done.
85kgs at 10% is rock solid. And it is better than 105@25% with water bloat, which most bloated-ass juicers end up being, like me at 111kgs and I do the truffle shuffle, so you look way better than the likes of me. Well done.

You are bulking now? If yes, consider a little GH +igflr3 to help you retain how lean you are while adding a little mass. And dont forget, if you get too muscley... you will be obese again (technically!)!! lol! + from me

Thanks bro, I'm a little scared to start messing with growth yet but definitely will when I start struggling to add more mass etc.

You've got a great base . Your not fat anymore . Program that in your head. Add good calories and protein and you'll grow.

Lol sometimes the truth hurts

EQ and/or MASTERON always bring out my veins like fire hoses.

fusebox's picture

Watch the blood pressure closely if you're trying to use things to become more vascular. I'd just keep doing what you're doing

Manshit's picture

Lowering body fat is the key to vascularity. You can also try HIIT training.Wind sprints will get you veins popping. As far a steroids for me Anavar always get me looking vascular.I chalk that up to the pumps.

Bearded_muscle's picture

Might try some kind of occlusion training. Don’t go overboard but I’ve seen guys arm veins blow the fuck up with that.

EagerToLearn's picture

This is actually true and the there is some angiogenesis and also vascular remodelling going on as blood dams up (the radius of the vessel lumen actually does increase due to the higher demands and pressures being put on it). If you take it too far though the valves in the veins get destroyed and you might end up with (permanently) varicose veins lol

Thebully's picture

How can I avoid going too far?

EagerToLearn's picture

Valvular destruction is not an all or nothing thing so just use a mirror and common sense. I guess for significant destruction to occur you would have to be doing that excessively for years

stairmaster's picture

genetics, bodyfat and how much carbs u've eaten before!

GrowMore's picture

Genetics, genetics, genetics.

I’ve been sub 10% before and didn’t have any vascularity.

333's picture

I could smoke crack for a year and mine won't pop it sucks ass getting blood tests they poke me like 3 times and wiggle it around under my skin to find one shit hurts

IrishMack's picture

Vascularity is brought on by being lean, aas and other "magic drugs" bring them out only for the longevity of the drugs being taken, then gone again. Get leaner and you will see the veins. OR you can take EQ and not give blood and watch those veins bulge out of your skin, Also you can get your blood pressure through the roof and that will help too, otherwise just get leaner and train harder, they will pop. Do not increase your blood pressure or take a ton of EQ.

I thought Deca brought out some veins for me. I was also training and eating like a beast so probably a combination.
