Thyroid Test
ad
So I received my blood work back for my thyroid test. The scale was .340-5.600. My level was 2.066.
It was within normal range. I ordered T3 and planned on taking it. Any thoughts with adding T3 for the thyroid?
My test was 101 out of 823, and was put on TRT. My SHBG was 30. The scale was 15-94. I don t know if a low SHBG is better than a high one?
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you

Molinin302I'm confused, you ordered T3 and planned on taking it, your test was low so you "were put" on TRT. You're asking about your SHBG level when a physician would've gone over these results with you. Who "put" you on TRT? And no, don't mess with your thyroid, if you fry it a new one will not grow back. Are you consulting with a doctor or trying to figure all this out on your own?
I assumed my thyroid numbers could have been better. But they seem to be just fine. Yes, my doctor only talked about the testosterone. Only real issue that I had
Thanks for all the help and advice everybody. I will abstain from T3. Is there something in my blood work test that would indicate I need HCG?
My doctor told me he would write a referral to another doctor to see if I was in need of HCG also. I was hoping to get a script for that also, if needed.
RustyhookerTrt only....kiss
Hcg would be fertility, basically if you want to keep your boys running too!
It's a personal choice.
Best way to screw up a properly functioning thyroid is to start using T3/4.
The lower SHBG is the more free test you will have available. 30 is just fine.
Like everyone said below!
DONT FUCK WITH T3 or T4!
A tsh of 2.066 is decent, dont blow it buddy.
Also a shbg of 30 is pretty much in the sweet spot!
You don't wanna fool around with thyroid meds when you don't need them.
What made you think that you need it?
Since my test levels were low, I was assuming I could incorporate T3 a little bit to speed up metabolism. I'm 37 yo, and went on many steroid cycles in the past.
I never did any blood work, and never properly PCT off in the past. So I screwed my system up by doing that. On top of being a boxer for 14 years, I read that head trauma could cause a decline in testosterone.
I was thinking about using the T3 like someone who is on TRT and decides to go up to 400mg of test a week, or 600mg test a week, then cycle back down to 200mg.
Now that I'm getting my test levels back to normal, will that naturally raise my Thyroid levels? I have a boxing competion in 2 weeks, and I'm trying to have all systems running strong, not average.
"Now that I'm getting my test levels back to normal, will that naturally raise my Thyroid levels?"
I cannot tell how your body is going respond to that buddy, nor can anyone else.
But you''ll find that out in your next round of bloodwork, and by taking thyroid meds now, you are going to screw that up, and that's the last thing you wanna do.
Head trauma can be secondary hypogonadism. Hormone bloodwork including FSH and LH can give you some insight.
Keep in mind, the lower the TSH number the better on thyroid too.
AnonWait, what? Head trauma can shrink the peanuts?

Your brain controls the on/off switch to your NUTS(fsh and lh)! If you damage your brain, cte, concussions, boxing, SSRI's, etc. The switch can stay in the off position. This is considered secondary failure.
Stay away from taking thyroid meds unless you have a thyroid problem.
RustyhookerDo not use thyroid.
I just had my colonoscopy and the doc said I am fine, so I ordered radiation and chemotherapy. When should I start?
RustyhookerYou gotta choose who you come back as....hulk or bane. Then pick your route of radiation or chemo
