+ 1 The importance of lab work

ad

I have been on trt for about 5 or 6 years (Testim--2x50mg ed) and have had pretty good results. This is all through my MD, who does testing every year.

I am coming off a ten week anavar (60 ed) oral run and want to start a Test-E 400-500 wk cycle (my first) in late June.
I have upcoming labwork with my doctor then an appointment to review.

I have been actively devouring any and all info that I can on eroids.com and two things keep coming back all the time: 1.) Make sure you know what you are doing, and 2.) get labwork done regularly.

At the end of the var run, I decided to get a baseline of my own done for a couple reasons. I wanted to see if I have any liver issues, and I wanted to get a heads up (before I go to the MD on baseline test levels. And to get a baseline on estrogen, so I could go into the test-e cycle with some idea of what base estro is, so when I di the mid cycle tests, I know how AI is going.

So I was pretty surprised that my test is a LOW 308 ng/dl, even with two Testim gel tubes a day, and the surprise was the high estrogen levels (80pg/ml)

I expect the labs in a few weeks done by the MD to mirror these.
What I want to do is to cut over from Testim to IM injections to get the levels up, and get him to address the elevated estrogen levels. Problem is, I am not sure he is that knowledgeable, and may need to press him to turn it over to an endocrinologist.

So again, thanks to all of you who consistently--and smartly advocate lab testing. I could have been setting myself up for some big estro problems...at least in the first 4-6 weeks of the cycle. And yes, this means that I may need to put off the cycle (at least a couple weeks) to understand where things are (and perhaps get my insurance to pay for AI Smile

I have learned a LOT here, and I thank you guys for the serious and meticulous manner that you approach AAS.
