Test dosage

ad

Height : 6'
Weight: 216lbs
Cycle history: 5 or so cycles

Ran my last cycle at 500mg test per week with good results and have bumped up my test to 750 per week this cycle. I ran anadrol between 100-150mg ED for the first 4 weeks. I've since stopped and have just been running test. I'd like to gain another 10lbs this cycle. I was thinking of gradually increasing my test to 1000mg per week. I was going to do this as my gains began to slow at 750mg. Do you guys find increasing test gradually as your gains begin to plateau eliminates the plateu? What's your protocol? Looking for first hand advice! Thanks again

How much weight have you already gained this cycle? There is a limit. There is not a direct correlation between the amount of test and how much weight you gain. The answer to gaining more weight is not as simple as increasing the amount of test you take. Plateaus are busted by food and training and not increasing the amount of drugs. The only thing you will likely be increasing by raising your test dose is side effects.

Understood but there comes a time when you will have your diet and training dialed in and increase your dose. You can't tell me the pros use 500mg of test...

Comparing us to pros is like comparing apples to oranges. The pro realm is a whole different world, but I bet the first answer you would get out of them would be to adjust your training and diet. The body can only put on so much mass at one time. Instead of trying to gain a few extra pounds by increasing the amount of drugs, just take a break and recover to let the recptors refresh and start a new cycle. Much healthier way to do it.

True and I appreciate your feedback. Still curious how guys have done this however. I'm not looking to stay on an extended period. This is more of a curiosity thing

You've run 5 cycles and now you want to go with a gram of test. Where do you go from there: 1500 mg, 2000 mg +?
I'm not trying to be a dick here, but your post implies that it's about the gear and not the diet and training. there are lots of posts here about this very topic.
You could gain 10 lbs of muscle on another 500 to 750 cycles, maybe with a kicker and taper, with the proper diet and routine.
I've been doing this a long time and the gains that stay are the ones that I made slowly and steady, with very little gear and lots of hard work. Just my .02.

Like I said I wanted to increase as my gains plateau. I'm not saying I'm doing this right away I wanted to know how that protocol has worked for others when they experience a plateau. I won't touch my test if I continue to make gains at any given dose

Diet and training dictate gains, not gear. If you're plateuing in your training, switch up your workout routine for a few weeks, and then switch back.
