I been thier aswell...I quit benching for little over a year, only doin other movements for chest..Then I started doin bench presses real light and graduly increased weight over the course of another year..Last time I was training, I was able to rep 225 again for 15..However, If I went to 3 plates I could feel the tear kinda get agrivated.

Im training again and I plan to just keep the weight moderate and focus on slow strickt form.

Been there buddy.
After confirming with MRI that no rear was present, doc told me to quit insulting my injury and srote me a s fipt cor celebrex. Took it easy for a few weeks by limiting my range of movement to assure further damage would not occur. I must admit though, the celebrex did help the inflammation which eventually lead to 100% recovery. If you don have a rear and it's just inflammation, then I would suggest this route.
Good luck.

I have torn ligaments in both knees for years,I don't want the surgery that will lay me up for six weeks. Just when legs are going good it never fails that they start acting up and I gotta take off for a few weeks and come back slow. Do you know if celebrex would help? If so I am making an appointment with my doctor on Monday.

It may buddy, ask doc. Not really a regular celebrex popper but it did help me with the inflammation which eventually lead to recovery. A co-worker has a busted up knee and he swears by it.
On occasion I will drop one if rotator cuff starts bitching at me.

No, torn ligaments don't heal on their own. You have to have the surgery if you want to be 100% again. Six weeks is nothing. Deal with it now, and be much happier later.

I had this treatment performed on several tendons I had wore out at the gym. It's the only thing that healed me. i did not have my procedure done at this clinic. Good luck and feel free to PM me with any questions.

I forget how much it was under $1000.00 and how long within a couple of days i was substantially better. My insurance picked it up and if you have insurance your's might as well.
