-1 T3 USE TO AID ANABOLISM ON CYCLE

ad

Hello chaps.

Just wondering what people's thoughts/experiences are on using T3 as an addition to a mass gaining cycle.

In my mind the fact that T3 speeds up metabolism a low dose (25mcg) daily throughout a lean bulk (or even heavy bulk) cycle would mean better results.

They say true mesomorphs have higher natty test and better metabolisms (as well as muscle bellies etc).

So supplementing with T3 (if you're naturally endo-mesomorphic) should aid muscle gains and perhaps slight fat loss too.

Any opinions on this? I would be interested in people's opinions & experiences on this and in T3 use in general. Any studies would also be most helpful!

Kind regards, Analogue!

t3 is not something to fuck with

Terrible idea. Reason already covered below. But besides, toying with that is risking screwing yourself up for life. In my opinion there is no reason for anyone to use t3 (that's not medically needed) except MAYBE a pro trying to cut in a hurry... MAYBE. But even then that just says to me poor planning/prep.

Additional T3 would do nothing of the sort, quite the opposite in fact. Your train of thought is illogical.

Hi bud, thanks for reply. I am talking low dose though, very low. Half to one tablet. For the purposes of cutting it is common for people I know to take up to 200mcg (although I do class this as highly irresponsible). Have you used T3 for fat loss? If so, how did you find it?

I take thyroxine permanently on prescription after having my thyroid removed. Rather than boring everyone else, You may wish to take a look in my forums, entitled something like "thyroid medications". You'll understand my position on it from there.

Hi mate! Thank you. I will surely take a read! It will make for interesting reading. I love the science of bodybuilding and hormones perhaps as much as I love deadlifts and hang cleans!

Bad idea. Will produce more catabolism than any anabolism.

Hi mate, thanks for reply. I have been thinking about this since our chat last night. Would even perhaps 12.5mcg be detrimental? The cycle itself will be 500mg of test and 3x76.5mg Parabolan weekly. Have you found it to be catabolic even on a cycle designed for muscle gain? I may try it at a low dose, and monitor the effects. The half life is short so the only real risk is potentially messing up my own thyroid permanently. This is however a very serious risk! The more I think abut it the more convinced I am it's a bad idea.

All you will be doing is replacing your natural production of T3. It won't add to your natural production. All your doing with that dose is shutting down your natty production and then you have to recover from that and hope you haven't screwed up your thyroid. I think you are getting metabolism confused with nutrient partitioning. Speeding up your metabolism is going to make it harder to gain mass. You are just going to have to eat more because your are burning those cals off, so you are really not getting anywhere.. Ever hear of people claiming they are a "hardgainer". The culprit in most cases is they have a very high metabolism and aren't consuming enough cals. They sure aren't building a lot of lean mass with their high metabolism.

Excellent reply. Cleared everything I had in mind and more! Thank you! If I could give you "karma" or points or whatever it is I would. Don't think I can at the minute! Thanks again mate, most helpful!

I'll do it for you bro...+2 Makwa

Cheers MedDx. Fair play there are some decent guys on here. I kind of like the fact it's strict on no bullshit too. I don't know when I will be able to give you "karma" or points (still unsure how this works) but I will when I can. Not sure if it's desirable but it's a good way of showing my appreciation for the responses and acts of good will I have already received here in only a couple of days. My main forum from now on more than likely! All the best mate!
