Switching Mid Cycle
ad
Getting AAS is not exactly like heading to the store and finding your favorite brand - sometimes what is available is what you are going to get.
So the question: What are your thoughts on switching between say Test C and Test E during a cycle? How about between Tren A and Tren E or even Parabolon?
Thanks for the input.

Been away for a while. To all of you that pointed me in the right direction with regards to understanding half lives and not treating me like I retarded school kid, I appreciate the information. It's why I come here.
all the best
Haha love this thread
It appears that you need to educate yourself more on esters and half lives to have a better understanding of steriods and how they act within the body. Esters are just carbon chains added to the steroid base that basically dictate the time frame it's released in the body. These carbon chains also change the actual amount of steriod you're injecting per/ml.
For example Test Suspension has no carbon chain added so 100mg shot = 100mgs Test and very short half life of 12-36hrs.
Test Cyp has 9 carbon atoms added, so 100mg shot = 69mg Test and half life of 12 days.
Coincidently Test Enanthate has 8 carbon atoms added, so 100mg shot = 70mg Test and half life of 10.5 days.
Knowing about esters is important for properly dosing your cycle because as you see not only does the half lives vary between esters the actual amount of steriod in each dose changes. The longer the half life the larger the ester and less amount of steriod.
Thank you so much for that, you are right, I did not understand the implications of half-lives.
RustyhookerHave you even research damn half lives? Lazy kids....
Hey Rusty,
I have, well, I have read through the list that has been posted on this site. I take it my question relates more to the half life of the compound?
RustyhookerYou didn't read ANYTHING or your answer would be completely OBVIOUS!!
Everything is about half life
I'll go back and read it again.
Thanks. I'm on here to learn.
I think it's fine to switch between esters if it's the same steroid. Just have to do the math with the half lives to make sure the dosing coincides with keeping levels the same with the least amount of fluctuation. I am always using the "steroid calculator" that's online to figure out my dosing to get it right.
Just always make sure to have your PCT already before starting any cycle in case something happens and you stop suddenly for what ever reason.
You may get different sides switching compounds but I've never had issues between test C and E. Main difference between Tren A and E is half life. Many people will start with A and switch to E than back to A when finishing cycle. Same when switching Test C or E with prop.
Blood levels can fluctuate depending on what you are running with what ester and what dose.
You are fucking with your endocrine system and potentially destroying it for the rest of your life. If you can't make a simple plan and follow it, then you have no business using steroids.
I think you need to re-read my post. I am only asking a straight forward question about compound compatibility. This has nothing to do with a current cycle.. I test my blood every three months and have a very good idea of the health of my endocrine system.
Slight exaggeration on his part I doubt you're trying to destroy your endo system by asking a question.. But your question was quite basic when it comes to long and short esters. test e and test c for example are nearly identical molecular wise. No problem switching from one to the other mid cycle but usually it's bc someone is low on gear or got some free vials they want to finish up. Though there are ways to taper off test using test prop at the end of cycle or as a kicker in the beginning. keep digging through research you'll catch on quick enough.
Your question opens by making the false statement thst AAS can be hard to acquire. They aren't. You can easily source anything AAS related from any one of the sources listed here. You then ask if you could switch compounds mid cycle based on the assumption that AAS can be hard to get. The only reason that would happen is if you failed to plan out your cycle in advance and you ran out of something . If you run out of a compound during a cycle you shouldn't just throw something else in for the fuck of it. Cut the cycle short and learn from your mistake.
Let me re-phrase then. I personally only get AAS from one source, one source that I trust. As such, my access to the exact same compounds can be limited. Perhaps this is a bit mis-leading given the actual question that I want to ask; which is this: Will the body interpret Test E differently than Test C or Sus 250?
I won't expand the question. I have a 1/2 bottle of Test E that is not being used; I am running Test C. Can I use the Test E up. It is the older compound and I would prefer not to waste it.
That is what I am actually asking, the rest of the question was general curiosity - I have no intention of switching from Tren A to Tren E or anything else - but, wondered if you can; will your body interpret the hormone any differently?
That's it. I get your opinion, cut the cycle short if you run out, don't improvise. But that is not what I really meant to ask.
Happy New Years
Sure, Test C and Test E are said to be interchangeable, they contain Test and have very similar half lives. This is assuming that both brands are properly dosed according to there labels.
I wouldn't worry about switching test, if you're injecting twice a week you won't notice any difference when you change. But the Tren on the other hand is a big difference.
let me add in another one - since I have three amps left of sus 250....
You should always have enough for your cycle. Most stuff is easy enough to get these days.
The test cyp and enanthate are close enough to interchange imo, but tren ace and enanthate I wouldn't interchange--too different in ester length.
Tren hex and tren e are close in half-lives so maybe they are fine. Really, you should plan these out ahead of time.
Failure to plan is planning for failure.
Happy New Year!
I appreciate the input. I do have enough to finish the cycle but was looking at some odds and ends I have laying around and was thinking "the test is probably ok..." but that is as far as i'm willing to go without weigh in from folks who know a lot more than i do.
