+ 1 Need Second and Third Opinions

ad

Hi All,

I was 3 weeks off cycle and became seriously ill, two cases of pneumonia and the flu, hospitalized for 15 days, 5 of which were in the ICU - (go get your flu shot, I thought I was superman, but I'm not).

Been out for 3 weeks. I had HGH on hand and started taking that on advice of my coach. I did the research and it made sense.

However, he paid me a visit and suggested I take winstrol 50mg tabs 3x per week to help with wasting. My situation is not pretty, I can hobble a quarter mile if I'm lucky. Training is out of the question although today I feel I can use my treadmill in house on oxygen at .25 miles and log some PT time.

I was looking for references on stanzonal and pneumonia and couldn't find anything. I am going to talk to my Endo on Monday but hoped someone in the community had experience with this and could share. I trust my coach completely, but I always want a second and third opinion when it comes to my health. I would hate to make it worse and it really was as bad as it gets.

Sage advice please.

Rest is key here fella ....no compounds no training other walking and in the fresh air if that's possible

Training and all that comes with it can wait ....as you said already ...your not a superhero! And think about long term

In the meantime ....sack the dumbass coach

Fluid and lots of vitamine c.All aas tax the immune system leave them alone.I love the product airborne or emergen c ,both of these have a gram of vitamine c plus immune boosting minerals and herbs, like zinc glucanate, echinacia, and golden seal.Plus expectorants to help the body clear the lungs.

No. Winstrol is extremely toxic and taxes liver and kidneys, your already ill, why not focus on getting your self better like a normal person. If you went to your dr you think their gonna be like oh you got the flu take this dbol of you have a virus pop this anadrol oh you have pnemonia better take this winstrol??? Fuck no, eat healthy take ya vitamins/ minerals, drink water and get that protein in ya. Smh at ya coach.

If you use AAS, it will illicit an immune response in your body.
Your immune system is already dealing with something serious and Im sure you don't have muscular dystrophy, so don't tax the immune system anymore particularly when it is trying to do you a favour and fix you!

Thanks to both of you. I am feeling that holding off and getting stronger and the diet back on track is the best course. Of course I was hoping that someone would chime in and say winny will boost your immune system and help rather than hinder......magic pills would be great given the way I am feeling. I'll post up what my endo tells me after my blood work comes back. I've been seven weeks off cycle and would have done the blood work weeks ago if I was not hospitalized.

The only thing that will boost your immune system has to come from a neurologist. It would more than likely be intravenous imunno globulin...it's about $16,000 per Rx...prices may have changed...

You sound pretty banged up. Dude, come off completely, heel up, then get back on it. Looking at your age, run your trt with 200 mgs of deca to prevent wasting.

Thank you, I did find that. My concern is I don't have aids, I have pneumonia Smile It seems to make sense, but I wanted to post and ask directly. Seriously, thanks for your reply.

Thanks Brother, yes, workouts are quite a ways off although I do need to move around so I get full expansion in my lungs. Docs said go until you feel tired and stop. No gym, which is joke, I can't even drive there.
