Reusing needles on prefilled devices

ad

Hi!
Just a quick question:
On prefilled hcg-pens (like Ovitrelle and co.), where you set the dosage and pin it by pushing the button, there are 2 needles included, yet they contain like 20 doses...

Can I just reuse each needle 10 times? If so: What are best practices for this?
And if not, where do I buy additional needles? I assume they are very specialized and not normal Luer-Lock?

Cheers guys!

Don’t cheap out on syringes and needles. Those are few bucks a box.

Infections can end up being more than just expensive….

I'm not... I literally use the most expensive single use luer lock syringes you can buy, draw with 20G needle, inject with 26g needle...

That's why I made this post. Thanks to Greg I now know what they are called...

Good choices. I draw with a 21g. Pin with 25/27 or 31 slin. depending on what I’m doing.

Never reuse needles. Just buy more or tell doc you need more needles.

I've seen replacements on the shelf at some heb stores here in Texas for the insulin pens I'm sure they're the same.

I would at least wash them down with alcohol after every use

Needles are cheap. go online and buy a box of "pen needles"

Oh snap! Those look like they could work! Are they one size fits all? Don't have the pen here yet, so I can't check and couldn't find details online...
Thanks for the help!

yes, universal, just like regular needles.
