Proscar use?

ad

32yo
255lb
cutting body fat right now and gearing up for my 8th cycle.

Been reading about proscar and its the first I've heard of it. At my age should it be something I'm concerned about from the cycles? How would I incorporate it in to my protocol? Anyone with experience or wish they had used this stuff?

Proscar will not be effective against compounds that are DHT derivatives. It will be effective against compounds that convert to DHT.

My question is why are you interested in it?

Is it for hair loss?

Do you have any current prostate problems?

What type of compounds are you looking to run for your next cycle?

I'm concerned about my prostate and it growing as a result of HGH and steroid use. I don't abuse steroids and I don't cruise. I also take 4-6 months off from each cycle. I'm not having any real issues yet but I know they can occur from steroid use and I'm trying to be preventative for my future slef. It's a little embarrassing but I do have some fear because it's becoming more common that I can't get the last bit of pee out of my shaft and I have to shake it repeatedly.

Here's a link to my next cycle. Start date is dependent on how fast I drop my BF with diet, exercise and HGH alone:

Here are a few suggestions. And there is really nothing embarrassing when it comes to discussing health problems so don't be intimidated by that.

I'm suggest you get a PSA test done as well as a digital rectal exam (preferably by healthcare professional and not a friend, jk) from a urologist (they are way better at assessing this than a general practitioner). This won't give you the complete overall state of your prostate but it's a great start.

The HGH is a great idea but I would cut your dosage down to 3 IU and run it even longer than six months.

I wouldn't start another cycle until you resolve your prostate concerns. For all you know it might be nothing. There's no reason to play a guessing game when it comes to your health.

There are a few things that I would improve with your cycle but I don't feel comfortable doing that until you resolve your prostate issue. Hope this helps you.

"Proscar is a type of steroid reductase inhibitor. It works by reducing the amount of the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body. This makes the prostate gland smaller, which helps to relieve urinary problems." Source Wikipedia

Actually I'm referring to its uses for completely inhibiting the growth of the prostate.
