orals

ad

are orals worth the risk? It seems that there are some great gains to be made but the toxicity seems really bad. Thoughts?

I would run a good liver protectant like Synthergine.

I always use liver support when taking any orals, liv.52 mainly

I think there's a lot of confusion and hyperbole involved when it comes to orals and their toxicity. I think most of us know a handful of guys who pop Dianabol like skittles, or if their wallet permits, Anavar.

It's all about finding the individual's point of diminishing returns. If taking 60mg of Dianabol gives you a LBM increase of 3lbs per week and a strength increase of +5%, but 100mg of Dianabol only gives you 3.5lbs of LBM iand a +7% increase in strength, are the sides and expenses worth it? For some it is. But I think once you get to that point, you should be looking at stronger orals and/or AAS/Peptides.

Orals are great to kickstart or finish a cycle. You need to have a test base along side of the oral, it helps negate some side effects and also helps solidify gains from the oral. IMO liver toxicity is over hyped. Yes liver enzymes will be elevated, but the liver is very resilient and with time it will heal itself.

but things like alcohol should be avoided...? How about omeprazol which shuts off stomach acid which in turn prevents certain pills from passing thru the liver and remaining in the blood, Woud this help?

omeprazole only reduces stomach acid production. It has no effect at all on that. The drug WILL get broken down through digestion and then it will get into your bloodstream where it will pass thru your liver. There is no avoiding that.

Unless you have hepatitis or any serious liver disease you have NOTHING to worry about.

Anything that puts undue stress on the liver should be avoided like alcohol, ibuprofen, etc. I'm not 100% sure about omeprazole, but my thoughts would be it wouldn't make a difference. Stomach acid isn't what processes the oral compound, it's the liver that does and as long as the compound is in your blood it will pass through the liver. However most oral AAS have been methylated to allow them to survive the first pass through the liver.
