Lower back bruise

I did an injection (300 Test E) in my left glute. I didn't have any problems during the injection but the next day my lower back hurt a lot and I a small hard lump. It's not red or hot but was a slight bruise. It's a long way from where I injected.
It's been 3 days now and it still is hurting (maybe slightly less). If it still hurts Monday I will go to the doctors. Does anyone know what could have caused this?

Thanks for all the replies! The lump has got smaller overnight and the pain is not as bad so think it will go on it's own.
Ive had this sure. Dont be alarmed, it is in fact that bad and I can easily relate to what your saying in terms of duration of pain and the fact that you pinned at Oklahoma and pain's at Toronto. When I do with my left glute it happens almost always. I'm pretty sure it didn't go deep enough so ive increased to 1" needle but I'm thinking about 1.5". See I pin quad too and to avoid hitting nerve I used 3/4" needle there (25g) and then started using same on glute which ain't right, gotta get longer pin. Interestingly enough on right glute it ain't a problem but then again my case is unique coz my hip bone ain't perfectly horizontal as it normally should be coz of a leg break as a kid.
Conclusion
its nothing, dont be alarmed, you're alright and it will go away. Just stay away from any lifts tht hurt you there coz you need to chill the fuck out till it heals
Was this your first pin bro? Remember for glutes the phrase "high and to the side" for the basic shot. The only think I can think of is that u didn't get the oil deep in the muscle tissue as a true IM shot and u have some Sub Q spreading of the oil. Generally 22g 1.5" pins for glutes. When u pulled the pin, did you notice any blood and oil leaking out of the injection site?
I started a cycle back in 2012. I was 5 weeks in when I when I had to cut it short has I had an unrelated injury. I am on my second week of this cycle.
I am sure I did did the injection high enongh and to the side. I am using a 1.25 needle. I did research this before and it seems most people said it would be fine. Not getting the oil deep enough was my first thought but here wasn't any blood or leaking at all.
maybe it was too high? i had my girl do my glute the other day and she pinned it a little to high and i had some pain/tightness in my lower back.
Stick to 1.5 inch for glutes.
There are too many variables to tell you exactly what happened. And the sad truth is that it may not even be related to your injection. If you are not running a fever, it's not warm to the touch, it's not getting progressively worse, chances are you're going to be just fine.
Some warm heat and gentle massage of the area will help.
