high blood pressure!
ad
I'm finished my second week of test e 500mg/wk and my blood pressure today was very high. 185/85. I was at the doc three days ago and im guessing it was ok since after the nurse took it wasnt too high.I'm wondering if maybe too much sodium? I drink a lot of water more than a liter a day. I have the wrist blood pressure monitor and the highest reading was 205/111 which I thought was crazy. Granted I'm now anxious and need to calm before taking another reading. I don't know if I should just stop all together. This is my first cycle. Also if I do plan to stop do I need to do any pct after taking test e for 2 weeks or should I be ok?

In general, everyone who cycles should take something like lisinopril 10mg per day. It's cheap, widely used with ample research behind it, and has a mild side effect profile.
say what? I can run 750mg a week and get 115/75 all day long. Everyone that cycles should keep E2 in a reasonable range, and reduce all the extra bloat that can spike BP
Find another way to monitor ur bp...the wrist monitors have been know to have issues...
I went to the doc last week and they used a wrist cup on me and the nurse said you feeling ok ? I said yes I'm fine, well she walks out grabs the doctor and he comes right in and ask me also how I was feeling I said ok. He said my bp was 210/140 and he did it with a regular cup and it ended up being 110/85 so it was fine. You may need to go to a local pharmacy and see what it reads. It may be all it is
eyedeaWent to the pharmacy today and it was 111/70. Unreal. I just bought the wrist one that night so I'm returning it for sure and will be making trips to the pharmacy every other day until I know it's consistently stable. Doc app next week also for hormone level check going on week 3 of 12 of test e. Thanks for the info guys well appreciated and will help with those in a similar situation who can search threads like these. I'll keep it updated.
I like the username. Eyedea was a sick rapper.
Anxiety is going to cause high readings. High estrogen will also cause it. How reliable is your monitor should really be the question. What size wrist is the maximum for the unit? You should probably put the internet down and focus on you're breathing and relax.
eyedeaIt is one of those wrist ones. I really do need to chill. But I'm putting it all together and I think I'm cutting caffeine, sodium and drinking more water. I have an AI on hand and was going to start it at .25 eod on week 3. Also hawthorn berry I heard can help.
1 liter of water a day is not a lot. You should be closer to 2+ gallons
That is ridiculous and dangerous advice. Such massive consumption will kill you without massive salt intake. It can lead to kidney failure, and in most people will result in severe dehydration due to electrolyte imbalances.
It's dependent on your size and weight, exercise regimen and climate. The eight 8oz glasses a day is a one size fits all and is far outdated. New studies have shown you should consume 1/2 oz to 1 oz per lb of body weight. 1oz especially if you train hard and are in a high climate area. While it may be dangerous for an average person who doesn't exercise and had a poor diet to drink that much, we're not dealing with that type of person. We're talking about a person who is on anabolics and are assuming training is intense and diet is fairly good.
Ok then. I guess myself and everybody else I know who competes and does it regularly should have been dead a long time ago.
eyedeaVery true h2o overdose is possible when on a lower sodium diet. I'll keep it a little more than a gallon but no more.
eyedeaMeant 1.gallon but I am going to up it plus reduce my sodium.
