DNP Problem Need Help

ad

Ok guys I have an issue. This is my first run with DNP and I have some pretty serious breathing issues that I could use a little help diagnosing.

1) I ran DNP at 200mg for 3 days
2) Upped dosage to 400mg for days 4-10
3) Day 3 I was short of breath as is the norm for DNP
4) Day 9 I could barely breath and discontinued DNP immediately. Almost passed out from not being able to catch my breath. Suffered for 2 hours and then took potassium and magnesium supplements. This seemed to resolve the issue temporarily
5) Woke up the next day with slight breathing issues, dizziness, and diarrhea
6) Got bad again at night (potassium and magnesium again helped, but did not correct).
7) After 5 days of breathing issues that seemed to be reduced, but not corrected by potassium I went to the ER. They did chest xrays, and EKG, and a basic metabolic panel blood work. Curiously sodium and chloride were slightly high and potassium was normal although supplementing with this has been my only relief. Also kidney function was impaired and I had perfect health prior to this. Creatinine was 1.58 (Norm .60-1.40) so it was high and GFR was 54 (norm >59). They wanted me to follow up with a kidney specialist, but said just to wait out the breathing issues and that potassium was not the issue.
8) Next day breathing issues again and again potassium seemed to help.
9) Here we are at day 10 since discontinuing the DNP and I still have the same breathing issues which are still helped by potassium. I tried drinking pedialyte, but I felt me throat and chest getting tight so discontinued this as well. Also dizziness is still present intermittently and diarrhea is finally gone in the last 2 days.

Looking for a few suggestions on what to do or expect here. I've contemplated an electrolyte imbalance or a pulmonary edema. I dont know what to do. 10 days since DNP stopped and I still cant breath and potassium seems to be my only cure even though levels are said to be normal according to blood work. Also have sport induced asthma and have been taking my inhaler which makes me dizzy and doesn't help breathing at all. Any suggestions. thanks

ok thanks for all of those that gave helpful contributions. I just started benadryl about 2 hours ago and symptoms seem to be decreasing. The real test will be tonight as it tends to get worse at night. It seems as though I might just be having an allergic reaction. I'll update tomorrow and thanks again for helpful comments.

I'm sorry this happened to you but you upped the dosage after you had breathing problems and continues it for 5 days...seriously bro what did you think was going to happen? Try an OTC bronchodilator and an antihistamine. Your high sodium level suggests an electrolyte imbalance and I would not take in pedialyte as it will raise your level more. You need to be drinking high amounts of water to flush your system and create balance again.

I didnt think too much of the shortness of breath as this seems to be an expected and common side effect. It wasn't until the last day that it went from shortness of breath to a legitimate breathing problem. I just started an antihistamine and it appears to be alleviating some of the breathing issues. Thanks for your suggestions, I really do appreciate you taking the time to offer your advice.

Sorry dude - but you have Sports Induced Asthma and you took this? I wont say or lecture you any more on that.....but the facts its been pointed out should alert your "im a cunt" radar.

In terms of what to do now....where is/are the breathing constraints? In the throat? ie does/has the throat swollen up? Or is it in the lungs? does your chest feel tight? It SOUNDS like the crystal or dnp touched your throat and you got a reaction to this......this is why its recommended to put a dnp cap in a starburst, fold it over, and swallow it....you wont read that here....as tbh theres alot of brobullshit from dnp users here....who have little knowledge on this dangerous substance...but thats neither here nor there right now.

Have you taken any antihistamines? Is the breathing constraint consistent or when you do something? Can you lie down on your bed, face the ceiling and breath....do you get any breathing constraints with your head faced towards the ceiling ?

^^^THIS

Bro DNP is one of the compounds we stamp ADVANCED around here and seeing that this is NOT a BB site (and we have a TON of members who shouldn't even be cycling) we don't like to give the dumb and impressionable ideas about it... that is why info is minimal

thats fine mate - i wasnt knocking the mods or management - it was more around some of the previous comments on the blase use of this from members.

its a double edge sword when it comes to not commenting on this......as people will then do it and get in to problems...and I am sure we all wouldnt want that.

I totally understand why proper advice on this is not open here and by making it available it also suggests and intimates that its a recommendation on use.

I just feel sorry for people that use this and get the effects such as the user here.....its not nice and its pretty scary.......bit of a emotional point this and insulin for me...as i have seen the worse side of both with people i know...who would have classed themselves as "advanced and informed" on both of the compounds....but get either of them wrong......and well......you know what can happen.

First I appreciate the help. Second the breathing constraints are in the lungs and it is consistent all day long. Feels like someone is sitting in my chest all day and when it gets really bad at night it just feels like I cant take a deep breath and cant get in enough air. The throat issue just started in the last 2 days and seemed to happen after drinking pedialyte. I have not tried any antihistamines as I didnt want to add any other medicines into the mix. You think benadryl would be beneficial even though it has been 10 days since my last cap? Also think it is an allergic reaction even though it is in the lungs not the throat?

rsp2000's picture

Ok...based on what you have said I would suggest you get this seen to

My rationale behind this

  • the fact you have swelling in the throat indicates a secondary reaction
  • the fact 10 days after cessation of DNP you have a tight chest indicates powder residue POTENTUALLY still there which indicates that a capsule may have split open or dnp residue is present

If this was me - I would take a antihistamine =- but I am NOT a Doctor and I am NOT recommending you do this in any way, shape, or form....PLEASE READ THIS AGAIN.

Do you have access to a Sauna or Steam room? That MAY help in clearing your lungs BUT it could also make it worse if its powder residue around there....its a double edge sword.

More than likely it will clear over time...but the best thing is to go to the Drs and tell them you have had a reaction to a fat loss supplement.......whether you tell them its DNP or not is your choice.....but as Doctors they will take a look at your lungs and look for any inflamation or issues.

also no rashes or anything else unusual that would indicate an allergic reaction
