I wouldn't use anything other than the inside of an alcohol prep pad to keep everything sterile. Aburaihan amps open with the black dot facing away from you with you breaking that direction. I would assume all amps open in the same direction. Helps to rotate and put pressure in all directions to loosen it up.

Bro best way i have found is get a tiny mag light, like key ring sized. Take cap off where battery goes slide the amp in take apaper towel wrap around the top so not to cyt hand. 1 papertowel is plenty. Bring the neck of the amp to the edge and justsnap it like a pencil. The remainder will slide to other end of flashlight be mindful to keep it right side up... then u can pull out the test out. Ive tried everything this was easiest to me.

wrap the amp it a kitchen towel or sumthing when you break it...
cuz it might give you a nasty cut!... happend to me the other day..

I use a small hand towel over the top of the amp, and the lower portion in my hand and it snaps right off around the scored line perfectly.
