Bad PIP, Infected Lump - All Because of a Higher mg Dosage??

ad

I have been using on and off since I was 23 that is for about 32 years, so Im not considering myself a novice in all this. I started experimenting with high milligram strength combos only recently, since mid 2014.
Couple months ago I purchased 400mg combo of Deca and Test E from one highly rated supplier, and since day one I've been suffering with a real horrible PIP, the injection site is swollen, hot to touch and a pretty nasty hard lump, about 3 inches long now stays in pretty much permanently.
I contacted the manufacture and I was told that I must simply give it some time because the muscle needs to get adjusted to such a high miligram dosage. Well I went through 14 injection( 1 every 4 days) and I'm simply not willing to shoot anymore of the stuff.
I've never had problems similar to this and I would like to know if any of you had similar experience. I did shoot for example 450mg/ml Masteron and Test E from another supplier. This stuff was silky smooth and hardly any PIP at all. So I'm kind of puzzled by the reply I received from the manufacturer....
Any comments or helpful info?

Don't mention the name, but curious if this gear was underground?

Just Curious's picture

Yes. There is not much pharma grade available in US.

Some people can tolerate high dose gear and some can't. I stick with the old school levels as I've had bad experience with higher dosed oils. I can't necessarily blame the source for this since it is a heavier weighted oil. They should be telling people to be cautious and that it works well for some and not others. Not everyone will adjust to it. 14 injections? I would never have gone that far. I tried a high dosed Test from a new source once, I pinned it my delt. There was a visible, painful mound for quite a while. I tried it a second time in the other delt and the same thing. I tossed it all (only 5 vials). Not worth going through that. I was told it was probably due to not cooking long enough to burn off one, or both, of the solvents. I'm not a chemist or a cook so I have no idea but it still wasn't something I wanted to go through. I moved on to another source.

I second this 100% . The longer you wait the worse it gets. Waiting to long can let bacteria enter the blood stream causing sepsis ... Which can kill all though nowadays the mortality rate is a lot lower than back in the day it's still risky. if you're worried about the doctor don't be most understand , they also see this more than you think.

Is it still hot and painful to touch? If thats the case u have an abcess altho if it has no more feeling to it and just kinda hanging out then the oil you had in your vial is not dissolving and could pin point to being shitty gear however u cant be for sure unless u pin again. It can also sometimes happen if the wrong length syringe is used for instance u use a 5/8" it doesnt enter the tissue fully and is kinda just stored there until you get it drained. Either way you have to go to your doctor or the emergency. Best way to test if its an infection or an abcess is flick it... If u feel like crying like a 12 yr old school girl, take yourself to the emergency cuz you good sir have an abcess. If the pain is bareable then its an infection. If the pain is dying down then its just oil that didnt dissolve in to your skin. Ditch the gear any how if its either of those, not worth a few bucks to go through that type of noise that late in the game.

Just Curious's picture

The pain is bearable, and I do not feel ill. The pain is worse during first 3 days. I stopped pinning this particular gear and I will get back with the manufacturer. I really did not buy their explanation of how the muscle must get "used to" this high mg dose. I pinned much higher in my life, never had this sort of problem. Thanks to all of your for your input. I stared doze of antibiotics, if it does not help, I will see my doctor.

Hansen's picture

Any update on this? If youre not ill and the pain is bareble u can rule absess out, and if the pain has died down exponentially then ure kinda just left with a useless golf ball of non dissolving oil haha i still have mine on my shoulder when i went thru this last year. Although if it does still hurt, its an infection fo sho! If it doesnt die down in another day or two, just pop in and the doc might try and move it around and if hes not a panzie doc he'll drain it himself otherwise he'll send u to a more hands on physician.

On a side note i totally missed the part where u said uve already hit this stuff 14 times, thats kinda hard to say that its shitty gear well cuz your body wouldve started rejecting it earlier, anyway youre much more of a vet then i am at this so make the call however you want but dont wait more then a week after pain has subsided to get that drained cuz the more u wait the more it hardens and becomes a part of your shoulder or wherever u pin. Good luck big homie. Let us know the outcome.

Im going through the exact same thing brother right now...i believe your allergic to whats in the gear ..thats what im dealing with..all your symptoms are what i have but i will tell you if it is the same and you have a sterile abscess you still need a doc to drain it..it might go away but best leave it to a doc i just had 15 ccs pulled out of one ..the gear i took wasnt high mg but my body reacted bad to it no infection but it through up all the stops and formed a major abscess around the injection site ..actually most of the muscle belly for that muscle....had it drained no antibiotics now doing fine this was 2 days ago

Just Curious's picture

Yeah... I also did not buy the explanation I got from the manufacturer. Funny thing is that they get only positive rating from everyone and this was the very first experience for me with this source... Shitty luck I guess. I never had such problems with any other gear in my life... just like you. Thanks for your input!

Get to an emergency room PRONTO, You have an infection that needs to be treated with antibiotics!

Dickkhead's picture

The gear is dirty bro. Nothing at all to do with concentration. I'm going to be a little crude here intentionally. Do not fuck with an infected abscess. Have it drained, then the doc will prescribe antibiotics. If you fuck around with this you run the risk of the sepsis getting into your blood although your body will pull out all stops to prevent that. (I run high concentration gear all the time because I just get sick and tired of constant pinning and I don't get abscesses from it).

I always share this.

People get sterile abcesses all the time from guaicol and ethyl oleate not too uncommon. If he's that concerned he should've already went to a doctor not posted up on a message board lmfao.

Just Curious's picture

I dont go to doctor unless Im in excruciating pain or loosing lots of blood. Im not there yet with all this... stopped this particular gear, taking antibiotics already, will try to find out of they use Ethyl Oleate or Guaiacol. Thanks for your tip.

Dickkhead's picture

I hope so. (that's it's not really infected). I know it's me, but I would be really apprehensive going to the ER to get an infected abscess on my ass treated. Even though, doctor patient confidentiality protects me. Even though, obviously, the doc is not gonna tell my insurance company that I was injecting roids (the doc wouldn't know that, and even if he did a blood test and saw a test level of 9,000 he still couldn't say that spot on my ass is where I injected it). What bothers me is that it is painfully obvious just looking at me that I am juice jacked and I just don't like the idea of the doc knowing the truth and knowing I am lying my ass off about how it happened. So, I can see the idea of a guy posting something up on a message board looking for a way out of going to the ER. LMAO. Smile Smile I'm definitely a little bit of a pussy when it comes to this issue. I admit it.

Drop-set's picture

I shot 400mg test in the quad once, and the pip was crippling. That being said, no lump or symptoms of infection...

Carlos Danger's picture

What was the carrier oil and was there any Ethyl Oleate or Guaiacol? Could be you're allergic. From the amount of time in (56 days if my math is right) on this compound I'd say you would have already had some serious issues I it was infected. but then again I'm no doctor

Just Curious's picture

I received a response from the manufacture. They don't use any Ethyl Oleate or Guaiacol. He told me they use MTC oil, which is actually pretty good in my opinion.
They really felt bad about the situation and I was offered the replacement of my choice. I really like the way they handled this.
By the way I have less pain even though the size of the lump stays the same. I guess this is a good sign because I really didnt want to go to the doctor with this....

tonytulo's picture

Could still be a sterile abscess just keep an eye on it.....

Just Curious's picture

Will do for sure. Thanks buddy for your concern By this evening the pain is almost gone. The lump stays in unchanged but my wife thinks that it will eventually disappear.

tonytulo's picture

Just keep an eye on it. Stay away from high mg gear really isn't worth the Hassel imo, just use more sites.

Just Curious's picture

Well, this particular very highly rated manufacturer does not indicate what kind of oil is used. There is no info whats so ever about that on the label. I guess I will ask them directly and see what they say.

Carlos Danger's picture

I would definitely ask what solvents they use. High MG gear often requires harsher solvents to maintain suspension. Most users have allergies to those solvents. I'm perfectly fine with EO but Guaiacol makes me swell. I am not overly allergic but my injection sites definitely swell and leave my muscle hardened for a few days. It's very common

Just Curious's picture

I was told they don't use either MG or Guaiacol. I guess it was just a bad vial, dirty.... I have no other explanation and the manufacture wouldn't comment much further on this issue..... But they offered me a free replacement of my choice which was a nice gesture IMO....

Just Curious's picture

Yes, EQ can be nasty, very painful in higher concentration, I agree.. .still, this is different...

Just Curious's picture

I already wrote a message to them, will see what they say. I know the difference between hardened muscle with PIP but this is something else. I would not ask for advice otherwise. But I didn't know about these harsh solvents and possible allergy. I am allergic to all sort of stuff including pollens, animal hair, dust, some meds...so this could be the case... thanks again for sharing your knowledge! Very appreciated!

tonytulo's picture

Good advice. Peoples first impression is infection, infection , infection. They don't realize just how fast an infection escalates. In a matter of days It gets out of control and most of the time is accompanied by a fever. What many also don't realize is those two carriers are not meant for intra muscular injections one is a fucking industrial plasticizer. Theres a video of it being dripped onto a pig carcass and it literally eats through the flesh of it. No given that's a 100% pure with nothing else and when it's in gear it isn't by itself but it usually always irritates the muscle. The shit is poison. There is no reason to fuck around during with high mg gear. Too many guys trying to Cram to much in one pin thinking the dosage dictates their gains I guess or theyre too fucking lazy to do multiple pins I guess.

Now I always have antibiotics for infections just to be safe. Why serious users don't is beyond me. I'd rather be safe then sorry. You never know , you might make a little mistake prepping your injection and at that point it doesn't matter if your pinning pharma grade, infections happen all the time even in hospitals with trained professionals.

Just Curious's picture

All prep and pinning is done by my wife, she is RN and both me and her take a really good care of all preparations, proper needle length, even wait 30 sec before taking needle out, etc.. this happened only with this one particular gear and I will not buy it again. I stopped using it, will see how long it takes for this abscess to disappear. If it does not, I will see doctor. I started taking antibiotics as well... this should help.
As I mentioned, I never go over 450mg/ml and I started using these compounds only recently (1.5 years or so). But never got reaction like this from anything else Ive ever pinned in my life.. I did have occasional problems but not like this.
Thanks for your input.

Carlos Danger's picture

Got me amoxicillin and zpac and doxycycline on hand pimp. I've been hoarding for the end of the world though not so much for gear. Dem aliens are coming to get us Nooka!!

Pale's picture

I agree and always have a good supply of penicillin just to be safe..

Just Curious's picture

Im on amoxycilin 1000mg every 8 hours. Got it from my dentist. Will keep extra 10 day supply, just like you said....

Pale's picture

Get on some antibiotics immediately. If it doesn't get better soon go to the emergency room.

Of course you could always just amputate it now? No?

Just Curious's picture

From all replies I received, this one is the most useful one. Thanks! Will do! :-)

true grit's picture

You've got the solution for everything, LOL.

The Impastable's picture

Could be a sterile abcess if its the permanently, id get it checked out. Were you rotating sites?

Just Curious's picture

I rotate sides, of course. I stopped taking this particular gear, taking antibiotics which my friend doc prescribed. But he is a dentist so I could not get any real input. My wife (RN) thinks it will go away in few weeks.
