First IM Injection, small lump/swelling

Did my first injection on Wednesday. I used alcohol swabs for both vial and injection site. I used two needles, and everything was sterile. I aspirated, but couldn't avoid a bit of movement whilst injecting the solution. I injected 0.9ml Lixus Enanthate.

Yesterday I noticed a really small lump/swelling at (or really close to) the injection site. It's only visible when there's light from above, and it's really small. There doesn't look like there's any irritation.

I can't say I feel anything special. The whole muscle hurts a little bit, but nothing bad. I don't have any trouble walking etc.

I've read some places that this is a common complication with IM injections, and a common adverse effect when taking vaccinations as well. Should I take contact with medical personal, or shouldn't I worry about this now? Is it normal?

(Knock on wood) . . . pinned thousands of times and had some weird reactions even as of lately and no abscesses. Doubt you need medical attention but watch it.

Message and heat are good to "move it through".

BTW: I just started hitting quads and going through my "virgin break in" and experiencing similar issues.

Good to hear. Are you able to flex your quads? I'm barely able to flex them at all now.

Part of the game bro , some people get PIP worse than others and some compounds are worse than others. Like noel said , stick a heat pad or patch on it , massage it every chance you get and make sure and rotate injection sites..

I dont know hwy everytime i shoot myself i get this huge lump why because we shake and have alot of movement... find a chick to inject you or your experience is gona be not a happy one... trynna help oout i learned the hard way

Well, it's certainly relieving to hear such words. I don't have a problem with the swelling, I just worried that it could develop into an abscess.

Do you think I could have avoided this if I managed to hold the syringe still under injection?

both me and you are im having it right now........... and had it almost 14 times........ go to the PHARMACY ask for anything that breaks up abscess they will most likely give you a type of cream here in MIAMi they give you a dark paste with a cow on it sorta like they know ur on tren or some shit it works go to ur pharmacy they will find something for you.... the abscess is something that will happen i get it alot....

Ok. But if I leave it as it is now, will it retract? Or will it eventually grow so big that I will need medical attention?

Ive gotten to the point of limping as if i got shot in the leg just go to the pharmacy do as i tell you you wont regret it and get heat packs also trust me this is for your own good as it will get worst!

Seems as if it's nothing unusual. What's interesting though is that the thread starter concluded that it was an insect bite, since it was a couple of cm off the exact spot where he had pinned. What's interesting is that I think that's the case for me as well, it's a couple of mm/cmm off the point in which I injected.
