Track Athlete Seeking Info
6’1 180lbs, Age 32 ~ 10% bf currently.
Have current pics if needed...
Comp stats in 2016 (168-172lbs & ~5% bf)
Clean- 300 from floor, squat- atg 345, 375 parallel.
Former track athlete, high jumper, national level collegiate and post-collegiate. Dabbling in training right now, don’t recover nearly like I used to. Basically want to see for myself what kind of impact test has on training. It’s all smoke and mirrors regarding the true effects in news and research (in athlete populations) but estimates say 70+ % of international level athletes are on drugs (tren, winstrol commonly cited in failed drug tests).
The limited “credible” info I have found has track athletes running test prop 40-50mg eod for recovery/strength while limiting bulk/water weight. Would like to start a conversation and see if anyone has legitimate experience that could help guide me in an 8-12 week low dose test only cycle to see where it takes my training.
Been looking around the site for months, this scenario seems unique to what I could find, but if there’s good info somewhere I didn’t find, will gladly follow any lead to inform myself. TIA

How do you guys feel about anavar for what he's trying to do? That's if he can find good anavar! I think var may be an option as well
I would agree with the fellas below. Winstrol and Tbol are most likely your best choices. Just keep water intake high and liver support as well. I personally would leer towards winny. Good luck mate
AnonWasn't winstrol created to give the us a leg up on the USSR in the Olympics back in the day?
It is, and can be a good performance drug it just rapes your fucking cholesterol so badly. I’d hate to see him start out with a drug like that. Plus the joint issues from the dryness... and IME there isn’t much difference in benefit for strength and speed over tbol.
I'm sure there are ways for you to do light AAS and improve performance without blowing up. However, I won't give any specific advice other than to say avoid Tren, and Dbol, and Adrol.
Usually Test is best, but that's your call.
I’m down to 180, I’ve got another 10lbs to cut before I’m at a proven weight that I can jump really high at. The trouble is cutting that low brings on fatigue and typically see my training indicators drop (lifts, jump tests, sprint times, etc). Just want to see if test would really allow me to cut and maintain speed/power levels while doing so. Really just an experiment for my own personal information. Definitely don’t want to do any crazy shit, not necessary, nor am I experienced. Thanks for advice.
Yeah not a lot of guys looking for what you’re asking on here but the info is out there. That is a very modest test dose which is probably a good thing if you don’t want to gain size.
Turinabol is what Jon Jones was popped for and that’s probably what I would use if I was weight limited. Good strength and performance gain, little mass. 50 mgs a day. No more than 8 weeks. With liver support like TUDCA.
Then the last thing I’d look into as an aging athlete would be a therapeutic hgh regimen for recovery and regeneration. You mentioned you don’t recover as you did when you were younger and 1-2 iu in the morning would definitely help.
Of course you should have all your bloodwork done before during and after to make sure you’re ready.
I would not start with all three. Try a little test. Recover, see what happens. Then try a little test and tbol. See how that changed things. Then lastly add the hgh. If you just go all in out of the gates you won’t know what the hell is causing what side effects. Good luck bro.
Thanks for input. As for PCT with a low dose test, I’m assuming all the same shutdown principles apply and I should plan on still running Clomid and Nolva 2 weeks after last pin?
100/100/50/50
40/40/20/20
8 weeks test, 12 week total.
I have a lab lined up for bloodwork before, end of week 4, and post. I’ll have AI on hand. I ran 100 IU’s hgh (1.5 morning and night) over the summer but was probably a waste since I wasn’t consistent with application or training due to summer vacation shit. Rarely noticed slight carpal as the only side. Since I have experience with that, would running 1-3 IU’s alongside this test cycle give me problems?
Full PCT yes sir. With prop it’s such a short ester I would say 1 week after last pin to start pct. you’re gonna crash and you should notice a drop off that week before you start the pct drugs. I would also include HCG in that pct regimen or 250 iu of hcg twice a week during cycle. As long as you are not estrogen prone that will ensure your balls never get fully shut down.
If you’ve already used hgh then by all means include it. I wouldn’t go above 2 iu for what you’re looking for as long as it’s a good quality gh. You really just want to mimic high normal for a guy your age. Bodybuilders can get away with up to 5 iu (although that’s really starting to push the envelope on what a “safe” dose is) because they want the extra size. You do not.
Solid brother. This dude is in a way different situation than most and your advice adjusted to it perfectly. Good shit, and I agree 100% with all of it.
Hell, when he gets his bloodwork he might even find out he’s low. A lot of high level athletes need TRT before most. They don’t really know why yet but it’s a trend you keep seeing pop up. If he’s low I’d head to an endo. if he isn’t low I’d do exactly as you said.
Yeah hopefully he gets pre cycle bloods and can recognize it before he jumps on and starts messing with his numbers. Like you said, most athletes I know are low or on hrt. But my experience is a little skewed because most of the guys I know still in sport are in some form of MMA and the head trauma is a huge link to low test as well.
Oh and good luck to the OP. And great name. I fucking love Vikings. All hail king Björn Ironside!
AnonIs this really about beating drug tests?
Are you asking if I’m trying to beat a drug test? Like the motive of my post? Because no, it’s really about learning what kinda cycle would be most effective for the above athlete (me). If the aforementioned 40-50mg eod test prop is legit for strength & recovery w/out weight gain. Like I said that’s all I could really find that seemed to be common in the referenced population.
AnonI was joking man. Never ran test p like that. I'm sure somebody around here has.
Ha, first post I’m new and don’t know what to do. I thought so too, hope that person sees and responds.
