+ 1 Glutathione injections
So, this is my first time posting and I hope I'm at least in the right place! I'm wondering about glutathione IM injections. Gave my husband 200mg in 1ml with 1 inch needle in his quad yesterday. Right away it was extremely painful, pain got worse over the next couple of hours. Had him ice it off and on for a while. This morning the whole general area is a bit swollen, no redness but still painful. Now, I'm an RN so I'm confident in my injection technique just wondering if this is common with glutathione and if anyone can recommend a better approach. We got this from a source that was new to us but seems reputable. I know IV infusion is the most effective route but I don't know about doing that with "for research only" stuff. So I guess I'm mainly wondering if IM glutathione is just always super painful because I can't seem to find much info anywhere. Thanks so much for any help!

TricepatopsI don't know much about it but if it is real and he has never had any Injections in that area it is most likely PIP. What you need to do is put a heating pad on it for a little bit 15 mins and that might help. I understand that this stuff can be beneficial but if it isn't pharmaceutical brand the I would be wary of it. There is supplements you can buy from many reputable companies which would be safer yet I know it will take longer. Also glutathione is made by the liver for antioxidant reasons. I wish I could help you more but I never used it. You are a nurse so you know what to look for if it gets worse fever warmth to the area redness. Just for now use a pin and draw a circle around the affected area and if it continues to grow then you might want to take him to the ER. But a heating pad I know for oils helps it dispurse into the muscle area quicker and not stay in one area.
Thanks so much for your input. I really appreciate it! The pain and swelling has decreased significantly throughout the day so I think it's just normal pip. It's water based so I think that's helping things calm down more quickly. I just ordered some from a company I really trust and will wait to get that before trying again and will start with half dose the first time. I really do appreciate the help, thanks again.
RustyhookerGlutathione injections work by clearing the body of toxins and free radicals that lead to hyperpigmentation, age spots, sun spots, wrinkles, acne, and even melasma. It also has anti-inflammatory benefits. The most effective way to enhance glutathione levels is having regular glutathione injections.

Sorry to piss on your shoes but it sounds like crap id never ever want to be injected with.....second, "for research only" so you dont even know if its real snake oil or just snake urine?
If youre here on a steroid website....maybe stick to items that millions of people have had success with and science to back it up. Roids going back to 1935 and modern HGH/IGF1 going back to what....1980s?
Nurse and confidence so you injected research chemicals then iced it. Ice stops bloodflow which stops absorption and retains the PIP or post injection pain. I'd opt for a nice warmed rice bag, exercise and getting the chem absorbed.
Pin size too....25x1 for oilly steroids is my chosen and a slin pin 29x 5/8 for HGH/peptides for sub q. Add in virgin muscle and theres gonna be pip too. It sucks, but its common. Stabbing ourselves causes discomfort til muscles and body tolerate it better
My opinion toss it in the trash and use science plus your degree and research. Im sure others that use that stuff will pop in with great skill and better options. Im stubborn and like using what works.
Not only is it an expensive treatment, it is also a painful treatment. Also, the severity of some of the side effects of this injection has resulted in this treatment being banned in a few countries.Oct 18, 2021

RustyhookerSide effects on the use of injectable glutathione for skin lightening include toxic effects on the liver, kidneys, and nervous system. Also of concern is the possibility of Stevens Johnson Syndrome. Injectable glutathione is sometimes paired with intravenous Vitamin C.

Wow...thanks so much for your help! Not using it for cosmetic reasons, it has tremendous anti-inflammatory effects. And yes, I've read all the info you included links to and copy and pasted. But thanks for your time.
