As far as I read, this is called the Russian cycle, and it seems that its author is Faleev. It was used in the off-season mainly for basic exercises - this made it possible to add muscle mass well.
I did this for a while back in 2016, my rotary cuffs kept on causing me problems. I guess the bench and tri pushes were too much. I tried so many rot. exercises but in the end had to stop training for a few weeks. It’s been a while might need to step it up again
I saw the Charles Poliquin version but not the meadow one. The CP is kind of superset. Super slow on negative, explosive.
Sweat like crazy. Was able to do 3 weeks in a row. VERY brutal. Make sure you have enough carbs. I saw people lost fat and getting fuller rounder on it.
Get yourself a John meadows’ training program lad. It’s a game changer.
10x10 workouts probably do have their usage for some but I would wager you’ll lose most of your intensity half way through the workout doing that many sets.
