Think I have broken ribs. Waiting g for x rays. Plus I took the shot in the kidney. Has this happened to anybody. Also how did you train with this injury. How long to recover? It even hurts to type. I’m two weeks into a cycle.

If you can learn to fall up the stairs, you can become president.
Savage AF. I love it.
I say look at the bright side. At least only 2 weeks in, and not week 8 of 16 week cycle.
It does suck though, wish you a speedy recovery. If you are using HGH, keep us updated on Healing. I gotta have surgery this year, and not looking forward to the down time, and have been wondering about HGH.
Already planned to use HGH. I already had some in the way before my accident with the stairs. It has a short shelf life so I gotta use it anyway. Hope it heals as good as what I read on it. I’ll leave a review on that so people can learn more about it’s healing properties.
Update. I gave the morphine back to the doctor because the pain is to where I can tolerate it. Plus being an ex addict, I can not press my luck with that shit. Going back to work Monday. Just got to stay away from the heavy lifting. Which sucks big time. Man I was two weeks into my cycle. I was eating like a horse and strong af. I’ll still be ready for next cycle because I filled up a giant chest freezer with a half a cow and 22 chickens. I’ll still have all of that. I think I’m going to work out light two weeks from now and see where I’m at. See how it feels. My buddy at The gym is a power lifter and he’s a physical therapist. So he said he would help me.
Has anybody done HGH to heal up from an injury like this?
Bring a ex fiend myself I’ve got nothing but respect for your attitude. I’ve finally got the the stage where I can have sleeping aids in the house without feeling the urge to abuse them
Thank you. I have to admit though i was tempted to keep them all.
Did the right thing mate. I slipped up keeping stuff for emergency use which ended up being wrongfully used and got time in a spot of bother.
I’ll pm ya on some stupid shit I did recently
AirborneGruntRest, rest and more rest brother. I wouldn’t even think ab heavy lifting until you have almost fully recovered after using light weight. Stretch/bands. You got this bro!
AirborneGruntI’ve had broken/bruised ribs quite a few times (From Playing Hockey and 1 bodybuilding injury) and it’s a bitch because there’s not much you can do for it other then rest, heat/ice packs, epsolm salt baths, and stretching. Good luck on the recovery brother - rest easy and don’t overdo it.
How long before you were able to life. I was thinking about going very light two weeks from now. Also I was wondering if HGH helped at all
AirborneGruntRoughly 2 weeks yet the doc said 4..I was running NPP which could definitely have helped speed the process up. All I know is the more I lifted the worse it got...ultimately rest and recovery is what I needed
I’m going to take that advise and wait, because if I go too soon and make it worse I could be out for years.
If I went years without training I’d be depressed. Thanks for the reply.
Try wearing knights armor during your next workout, those broken ribs wont be a problem.
I’m sorry to hear this my dude; it’s always the unexpected everyday injuries nobody expects to happen surfaces; I wish you well in your recovery process keep that positivity (:
RustyhookerIve broke ribs often....ummm occupational hazard of a sort. Your dr will give you advice. I never missed a dd's ay of work from it. As i got older though it took longer to heal. Kidneys....pissed blood quite a few times. Pain in kidney area sucks. Cranberry juice helps.
Hope youre ok!
Good news brother cat scan said no kidney damage and no broken ribs… but it hurts like a mofo. The morphine didn’t even help. I wouldn’t take pain meds home because I didn’t wanna slip back on the addiction path.
RustyhookerSmart!! Small shitty setback.
RealizeRealLiesIf it's broken ribs you're looking at 3 months at least for a full recovery. I have had broken ribs twice and both times rushed back into lifting partially tearing them again. Not worth rushing back
Ribs tear? What do you mean? The meat in between them?
RealizeRealLiesYeah the surrounding muscles, cartilage separating from excess pressure called a costochondral separation. It's super hard to describe but was very painful.
